@@Raiz136 the shadow queen takes a minimum of 5 turns. 1 turn for phase 1, 3 turns for the invincible phase 2, and 1 turn for phase 3. But in the OG it was a minimum of 3 turns since phase 2 could be cheesed.
It's strange how much impact this moment has. Even though this kind of thing has been done a million times, it really hits different here. It really does *feel* like the culmination of your experience with the game. The timing of when it happens is also perfect
This scene was made even better. Having more characters added in to truly show everyone you met in the adventure is on your side. Really gets you pumped up, even when you played the original and already know what to expect.
I remember crying when I was a kid and first heard this. As a man 20 years later, cried again🥲it’s such a hopeful and powerful scene, such a amazing way to end the best game of all time.
He let it simmer, sit out for 5 minutes, layered it in glaze, then put it in the freezer to stay fresh for months. And when the family was ready to warm it back up, he said "why are you putting it in the microwave, throw that B into the new air fryer, get that crisp back!" And the crisp was back as if it were freshly cooked!
It's been 20 years, we made it. I think this was the song I was most excited to hear in this remake, and they did it complete justice. The emotions were just as strong, maybe even stronger here. I'll happily admit this moment made me choke up. I can only hope the future of paper Mario is just and hopeful and awesome as this remake is.
Hearing this theme again 20 years after finishing the original made me tear up like a blubbering baby when I finished the remake the other day. Especially the vocal part! I might still prefer the original soundtrack over the majority of the new ones but this was a truly great rendition. Just wow

This song doesn’t make it sound like Mario’s ready to send the Shadow Queen back to where she came from, this makes it sound like Mario’s getting ready to go full Super Saiyan and fucking kill her ass. And I love it. What a glow-up.
This was the one track that I was really hoping and praying wouldn't be inferior to the original. Was not disappointed in the SLIGHTEST. If anything, the original feels a tad hollow now after listening to this version.
The Shadow Queen boss themes may suck, but this one goes HARD! Now I can't decide if I should use the OG music badge or not when I go up against the final boss.
I miss the square wave but you know what in context of the game, it works lol. Still prefer the original though since I’ve heard enough metal already 😅

This song perfectly encapsulates the whole "This is so epic, how is this even a Mario game!?" that makes TTYD so special.
“Mario? Gonzales? Not Luigi?”

The only other game since that gave me these sorts of vibes was Xenoblade Chronicles 3.

This song represents a decade of wishes being delivered.
The way you worded that almost sounds kinda petty.
Two decades if you count people wanting a prince mush fight since 2004.
I literally cried for the treath in this remake, it's like a game by fans of the original
