Agree with your comments about the brilliant Cupid and Psyche, but your "Abort ObamaCare" username is moronic and needs changing. Access to proper healthcare for EVERYONE (not just life's "winners") is a universal human right.
@@Trotskyxx Just pretend the username is in reference to the desire for a full public healthcare system rather than the market based system of the ACA :)
Great pop craftsmanship. If your hungry for some recent Green Gartside, then check out Everything is Recorded - Bloodshot red eye. Green is on the backing track..and you can sense Scritti Politti in how the song is built up. Great Track....
Listen to this with a great sound system and a high quality recording and it is amazing how much is going on within the song. the production is great, the bass pounds and it is just a fun song!
I had this album around when it came out, and I used to listen to it over and over, just fascinated at the complexity and musicianship, and how well it all came together.
@@Jasonm25870 No , it changed in 1988 after a decade and then they used a couple of re-arrangements of Alan Hawkshaw's classic "Chicken Man" theme. Then Peter Moss's completely new theme debuted in 1990. It even used Roland D-50 preset sounds and that synth wasn't released until 1987!
"I found a new hermeneutic. I found a new paradigm." Gotta love the philosophical depth and poetic beauty of Green's lyrics.
I'll always love you Green & Scritti ♥️🤗‼️ ☑️ 1985 Santa Ynez 🦄🎉
The album this brilliant song came from, 'Cupid & Psyche 85', is awesome from beginning to end. It's one of the best albums of the 80s!
Absolutely.

@@TrotskyxxBut you are not ashamed to have an username in the name of Trotsky you hypocrite. Change it to Stalin or Hitler (this is irony of course).
HIS VOICE IS ANGELIC SMOOTH AND SEXY, SCRITTI POLITTI BAND ARE ALWAYS THE BEST EVER ! 😍😍💕💕👌👌❤❤🪄🪄☎☎
I first heard this in 2004/05. 16 years later, I still in love with this song 🎵😍💕❤
Perfect pop song
Surprising that it wasn't released as a single... especially as there were ONLY 5 singles taken from a 9 track album!
Great pop craftsmanship.

Back in 1985 all over again!
I love this total top dance hit

There's a really nice bass boom effect in the chorus at about 1:21, not so strong on youtube.

I loved this album so much -- still sounds great!
Inspiration for the 1990 Grange Hill Theme Tune
This is my favouritest song from, 'Cupid & Psyche 85'!
Pop Perfection. Truly
can't believe how good it is
I dig how they show all the 12" single covers at the end
Great stuff! If I recall correctly, this was the inspiration for the 1990-onwards Grange Hill theme tune!
Grange Hill theme tune changed in 1986
