It's now been nine days since his death and I've cried every night when I go to sleep. I love his voice more than any other's. It's a voice of an angel. Perfect live singing, not just in studio. I knew his music since I was a kid in the late 80's & early 90's. I've loved Wham and his solo work since. I saw him live in 2007. He didn't sing this song in that concert. I had a dream I would someday see him in a live performance and he would sing this. That dream I had to give up. I'm heartbroken, devastated and sadder than I ever been after any musician or even a close person of mine who has died. At moments I think I can't take this. Thanks to anyone who read this.

George was an amazing man. It's the ultimate tragedy that more did not realize that he had such a tortured, grief stricken soul. Now, we know that his behaviours were a cry for help, not simple symptoms of rock and roll excess. Would that we could go back and be help mates, instead of laughing off his waking in a car inebriated! We lost such a beautiful soul. We lost a talent that spanned the ages. A talent that united generations in dance, love, and peaceful gatherings full of joy and adulation. My sadness over the death of George Michael knows no bounds. He was our John Lennon.

Yep. Adamski was a genius creating the beats and tunes. Seal wrote a great lyrics. And the addition from Norman Whitfield and Barrett Strong's song is just icing. GM did not much for this track.

I don't know why comments about this have stopped,OK the music industry has lost the 'best' and I mean THE best vocalist EVER!' (I'm 55,grew up with Elvis,was in awe with Freddie,loved the police and Sting,and still think Michael Mcdonnald was only noticed by people who really knew their music,but here's the thing,never mind the RIP'S,does anyone who posted their respects on his passing think that just to pay your respect would and then fall silent would make him happy,I say keep the good comments going,let your kids listen/watch his music and hand it down as my parents did with me (the artists mentioned above are only the tip of the iceberg!)I

Now, we know that his behaviours were a cry for help, not simple symptoms of rock and roll excess.
Would that we could go back and be help mates, instead of laughing off his waking in a car inebriated! We lost such a beautiful soul. We lost a talent that spanned the ages. A talent that united generations in dance, love, and peaceful gatherings full of joy and adulation.
My sadness over the death of George Michael knows no bounds.
