This guy's a fucking genius. Wow..Perfect Pop Perfection..the whole album..It's easy to lose yourself in the saccharine..but if you perceive the fabric of the production...it's Pure Genius. Bravo !
Not only is there not a single dud on this album. Even if you are really honest. What’s more astounding, is that all the songs are equally amazing. All in their own way. This should be on everyone’s top five of best pop records of all time. Immediately accessible, yet deep as fuck. Sweet and unpretentious. Yet not without teeth or coursing blood. Looking back to the origins of pop, yet using all that was learned with the best instruments and techniques ever invented.
This song is more than 35 years old, and it still sounds a lot better than any of the new ‘music’ being played on the radio today.
Officially the best thing ever.
Cool song! It’s a masterpiece.

I love how Green is this huge strapping dude and then he has this delicate, sweet little voice. Such a beautiful paradox cannot be manufactured.

"Let's fall in love and be glad to get it over" - love this line! One of the greatest song lyrics ever.
if God came to me and said what do you want i would ask Him to go back in time and make it 1985 again. And im 21 again💋💋💋💋💋💋💋
I think this is the US remix (3:52) the 4:13 version is on the UK album.
It sounds quite different doesn't it. I thought it was a demo version at first
Yep....fuck me....your right......wow.

The inspiration for grange hill theme 1990
green is so handsome and talented
i wanna be greens friend so he can sing to me,sublime
Apprently this inspired the Grange Hill theme in the 90s
your amazing
If you make 'pop' music make it like this.
hes so handsome
You’re using the wrong word. Not handsome, beautiful. Seriously.
If Micheal Jackson was King of Pop, then Green was the Puritan of Pop.
Grange Hill brought me here
Me three lol.
The instrumentals are similar, but the tune is completely different (thank God).
Same haha
@@SamuelMproductions Ditto. The GH theme sounds a bit like New Order's Mr. Disco too, from around the same time.
Me too 😂👍🏼
Where is Green Gartside ?
Bringing out a new ep I heard.
Still doing it and can still sing like that. Amazing
hermeneutic🤔 not an everyday lyric🧐😏
"This would make a great alternative to Chicken Man" - - thought nobody ever (except Peter Moss)
