    Loved your review so much I took the plunge and bought a new Vantage to replace my 911 991.2 Turbo. I’ve not regretted it one bit. The Vantage is epic and ticks boxes the 911 couldn’t. @@nicholashansen1477 not really, the 911 is plain and boring but it is good. The new vantage takes more risks making it a more exciting car to look at and drive. I’ve briefly owned a 992 911 gts and a new vantage. Got to say the vantage is more fun to drive and own, it is actually an extremely good car.

    • @nicholashansen1477
      @nicholashansen1477 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ferdiegillon5919 Lmao, how is having a traditional layout with the engine and gearbox up front (both sourced from another company, along with the infotainment) and a car that barely is distinguishable from an F-type Jag (which is less than half the price) defined as taking more risk? Astons have literally never been edgy or risky, they are anything but. The 911 has never been matched or replicated, there is no substitute, everything about it is unique. I fail to see how the hideous interior and lack of a manual on the Aston as being more exciting as well. the 911 is objectively better in every way. I like Astons but come on.

    Excellent review Harry! I bought a Vantage this past November and love everything about the car. I know everyone gripes about the infotainment system, but I find to to work just fine. One of the things I love most about the new Aston is that it introduces a real frisson of challenge, fear and respect - adding up to some genuine excitement when you push on a little. As pretty much everyone else moves in the direction of putting 0-60 times of 3 seconds and 500+ bhp at the safe, kid-gloved and nannied disposal of people who don’t particularly like cars or who don’t know or have never learned how to drive well.... the new Vantage is like a bare knuckled punch in the face. In a good way.
