Hello Patrique thank you for the information. I just left Athens about a week and a half ago I had a wonderful time. I'm older and have found many objects. I had about four hours until I could get into the Acropolis I found myself to the right of the ticket center. First I found a interesting top of a funerary vase out of primitive clay. It has a bowl on the top maby for incense. I gave it to the Museum of the Acropolis. Best place to find something else is the last place you found something. Second time I noticed a small white corner exposed maby 10 millimeters tall I moved it and later pulled it out and it was a marble piece with ME carved on it part of the beginning of a name.I gave it to the Athens Museum and Thay we're very happy. I only find to give to Museums. I have my own jewelry, ha. Thanks again your inspiring an older man to move to Athens. I'm already Missing Greece from LA. If you have a email address I can send you my small two finds, photos. God Bless.

And is there any long stay hotels in Athens that dosn't cost your whole wage ? after i arrive i got 30 days to find a place by myself, while i am working fulltime, that could scare me a little bit.

@@patriquemercierIt was good to hear from you about Spain, because I live in Barcelona right now, and bcn is very expensive compare to others cities in Spain. Here the most expensive item is the rent. One room in barcelona can cost around 400 - 550 euros. One small apartment can cost a minimum of 750 without the others expenses (energy, water etc). Out of bcn it will be cheaper of course. Same for grocery. I spend 200 euros per month. But on other hand the minimum wage here is 1.350 after tax. They offered me this job in Athens, and I really don’t know if is a good offer change everything I have here to start a new life in Athens. But if I can pay one apartment for me, plus university and grocery, it is a very attractive offer job.

@@patriquemercier Current official minimum wage is 910 gross/ 760 net . Average net in Athens is around 1000-1100 according to my sources. It's also worth noting that in the private sector all employees receive 14 salaries per year ( Christmas "present " 1 full net salary, Easter "present" half net salary, Holiday bonus during august half a salary. This is no longer the case for employees working in the public sector where they receive the usual 12 salaries .
