- A series that I made the mistake of not touching until now, Pikmin was what caught my attention after playing the Jak games. They seemed to be simple games that I could sit down and relax with, and while that may be true, I found it to be much more complex and game-changing than a lot of people give it credit for.

I know you love the "no competition" thing. I loved this game as a little kid, but was so unable to effectively collect parts. I'm wayy better now than before, and still like to play it to try and beat my "fastest time" with smallest amount of casualties.
People have turned this game into a competition. You should check out the speedruns in this series. It will drop your jaw.

the thing about the ants was actually totally made up for marketing sadly :/ it was initially a way different game that eventually evolved into the pikmin we know today
