same, ..., really the HCSB, the Minister's Bible -- bought two of them. Single column, great translation, large font, words of Christ in red, pretty good leather cover, and a few other things that make it good for me to use in public with those who have maybe never seen a Bible. They seem to understand I am reading God's word.

I have the same Bible in black goatskin indexed. I always go back to it. I have wanted to buy a Schuyler Quentel but always stop myself from buying it due to this Bible. The verse by verse format is also a plus for study and following along in church. It really is as close to perfect as it gets for me.

Speaking as one who has severe sight issues...BOLDNESS is key... No matter what size the font is...BOLD makes a huge difference. I’ve learned to look for dark, comfort print...
I like the NKJV, too... Just bought my first ESV, and it’s a very nice translation.. ..
I think the Nelson font is a wee bit larger...and I do like the Comfort Print...but that bold print in the Holman wins...

Nice Bible. I love the NKJV & the Holman leather touch editions are great Bibles, well made and affordable. Some of my favorites are the large print personal size editions. I am a big fan of the affordable Bibles. I love my premiums but I am much more likely to use a non premium for daily carry. The premiums stay at home. Also a non premium for daily carry is nice cause if you happen to run into someone and they’re interested in the Bible and do not have one it’s nice to be able to just give it to them right there on the spot, cause a $20-25 Bible is easier to replace...great video.

Enjoy your vids! Watching this again, & thinking on that Nelson Classic vbv, for me the bible is too thick, I'm so used to that thinline format. Also, there aren't enough words per line for the size of the Classic, which wouldn't be as comfortable a read for me, it's too choppy, the Holman overall format would be my choice. Wish Nelson would produce a premium hand size thinline vbv, like they & Holman did in years past, AND still kept it less than 1" thick. The 8.5 -ish x 5.5 -ish x 1 is the perfect size for me. (That Holman text block is the same one that Allan bound years ago for their NKJV Reader, that is rare to find now & so highly sought after)

Really Keith? Read the Gospel of John chapter 5 verses 1-5. In the NIV, ESV, and any other translation based on the NU text it doesn't make sense. Now read it in the NKJV or MEV or the classic KJV and it makes sense.
Also the Greek Church which is made up of the Churches that Paul wrote to (Corinth, Galatia, Ephesus, Colosse) have used the Majority text since they received Paul's letters and copied them and recopied them as they wore them out due to handling them and using them (hence why oldest isn't the best). As opposed to the critical text which the NU has made what, 30 different editions in the last 100 years or so. Which is primarily based on two texts from Egypt that has over 3,000 confirmed differences in the four gospels alone.
      Blessings in Christ 🙏🏻

@@KevC1111 No it does not. Peter John and James are mentioned together several times. Are they a trinity. In1Tim 5: 19 it mentions God , Christ and the holy angels. Is that a trinity. In Rv 1:1 it mentions God and Christ and an angel. Is that a trinity. InMt 28:19 it simply means: in the name or authority of the Father(the only true God who gives all authority,) and of the Son( the visible King present in the kinhdom) and of the holy spirit( the power of God operating in and through the Son in the kingdom. It's a kingdom passage and it has to be understood in that light. Stop reading your false trinity into SS when it is never taught or mentioned once. God is one, not three! God is never once said to be three. The words God and three are never once connected in SS. The Father is the only true God, the one God. Jn17:3 1Cor8:6. God is never called a trinity. In the NT the word God is found over 1300 times and it almost always refers to the Father. Jesus has a God. The Deity doesn't have a God. The God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Eph1:3
