If Thomas Nelson had put that KJV vintage series out with the decorative drop caps like they have in the sovereign collection, that would have been a home run Bible. An absolute home run.
Haha atheist here, I find this a good resource for the type of research I like doing, looking into Christian culture as an outsider. This channel helped me get my first 10 bibles so far
“Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with me” Revelations 3:20
I’m unfamiliar with the Thomas Nelson but I just purchased one. NKJV, End-of-Verse Reference Bible, Personal Size Large Print, Premium Goatskin Leather, Brown, Premier Collection, Red Letter, Comfort Print Hopefully that’s a good one?
The Sovereign is only KJV, the highest quality is genuine leather and what I would call between premium and non premium. The price is right though. The Maclaren and the preaching bible and have both KJV and NKJV are basically the same thing with a new name. If you prefer calfskin the preaching bible is a great option. They also have a goatskin, cowhide, and leathersoft in the Maclaren series depending on your budget. You really can’t go wrong. One last factor is red letter. The sovereign is a red letter, the Maclaren/Preaching Bible is not.
In Toronto Canada. Bibles are expensive. I picked up a compact one for my daughter. It was a basic teal colour, but $36 before tax which is 13% here unfortunately
@@anickelsworthbiblereviews I'm sure they're good, but I don't understand why that would make it more expensive. Ice cubes can improve a drink, but they're not expensive.
I'll ask you what I asked another person reviewing the Vintage Bible... If it has contemporary comfort print, leathersoft, and no old-school pics, what makes it "vintage"? The other reviewer didn't know either.
I actually asked about that. The only thing that makes it vintage is their attempt to make the cover look like an older style and the layout. The line in the center is more of an old school thing. You will see some of your CBP Bibles with that older style layout.
I like the red letter editions.
LOL “Black Letter Text - Praise the Lord” I hear that 😁

Thanks for your comment. Hit me up on Facebook if you have any questions. Glad to have helped!
I ask you today to come to the Lord Jesus.

Atheist huh? What does it benefit a man to gain the whole world but loose his own soul?
I just bought a 17 dollar Nelson KJV personal size from Walmart that has footnotes and references, and I have the same in NKJV
Leather soft is nice and I love me some KJV .😁
Yes you do! And Dr Nnorom! 🤣🤣
I got the filament kjv thinline for $17 last week love it
Wow. Love that bible. Wishing to have one.

Not familiar with this one.
@@anickelsworthbiblereviews Apparently it’s not released until September
I have that one and love it.
Thanx, Pastor 🌹🌹🌹
I’m trying to decide between a Maclaren Series, a Preaching Bible, and a Sovereign Collection. Which one would you recommend the most?

The Barnes and Noble KJV is really good and around $25.
Those are getting hard to find. But I do have one. Did a video on it as well.
@@anickelsworthbiblereviews it's still sold on Barnes and Noble. And it was on sale a week ago for $22.00.
The red letter text in the new testament has always been great. Why not have a color for when God speaks in the OT?
There’s a publisher that does that. Whitman maybe…Sword Study Bible.

That’s a little more than twice the sale tax in the US.
Thanxs 😊
Does those came with shipping fees????
Sometimes shipping is included in US depending on the vendor.
@@anickelsworthbiblereviews ok thx
The ribbons must be like 2 cents, why would that be difficult for 20 dollars.
Not sure what you’re reference. Thomas Nelson puts good ribbons in most of their bibles.

@dfjpr obviously it doesn’t. They put them on $25 bibles.
Love the Open Bible
Me too. I have two of them.
