I bought this on sale and never looked back. It is the greatest medium for God's Word I have ever known. Reading is effortless. The size of the Bible and font are perfect. The leather is supple and incredibly soft. The stitching is superb. I just want to sit and read it constantly, but life gets in the way.

Just acquired this one and its exceeded expectations! Some of the best leather I've seen on a TN premiere. Love the black liner with the red cover. Single column highly readable, and length of line works just fine for me. Was worried about gutter but honestly once broken in a bit, its a none issue. Personal size makes it very easy to hold. I think this edition is way understated!
This is the best KJV for reading I have ever seen.

Thank you for your review; you gave such an accurate description - definitely not the Bible for lots of references and large concordance. There are others for that, however; I'm commenting for two reasons - The first is that everything you described about this Bible is what I have found to be so. The second, for me this is the easiest KJV Bible to read through! The format is so wonderful, it all just flows. Fabulous. The references at the end of the verses are well chosen. Love the colour, this Bible feels just right when you hold it. The weight is good, the size is great for home or taking along.

Just red goatskin. There is a black genuine leather.
I do not understand why they always give a tiny concordance. That is why I like The New Strong's Reference Bible KJV it has a 749 pg concordance.

Great review- I feel like the verses are too close together; making it difficult to stay on your verse.
Wish there was a KJV of this quality that had in-line translation notes. I can do without the references

Hey, just a question about the size of the Bible. How would this Bible compare to something like a Cambridge concord? Father’s Day is coming up and I want to buy a new Bible for my dad for Father’s Day. I want to get him a Bible that’s kinda like the concord in size or maybe just a tad bigger so he can read it without putting it on a table, but bigger font. Which is pretty hard to find lol. I think he’d like this Bible but just wondering how it would compare to a concord in length and width. Thanks 😃
Hi. Good choice. The overall size for this one is 6 x 9.3 x 1.75″. The overall size of the Concord is 6 x 8.75 x 1.25".

Randy what is the best KJV reader that you’re aware of - a Bible with verse numbers etc but no word definitions or reference marks etc? I’m thinking the Windsor?
For a reader, I prefer paragraph editions. My current favorite is the New Cambridge Paragraph Bible in personal size.

@@RoastBeefSandwich that's a tough one. Maybe the Holman hardcover NKJV reader's edition. If it has verse numbers in the text, then maybe the ESV Heritage. The Legacy is awesome, too.

would you recommend getting the thomas nelson bible personal size large print, or the schuyler treveris bible full yapp KJV?
Hi Kim. That's a tough one. The Schuyler is more elegant, but it's in a different price range. The TN has thicker paper, which many prefer, and since it's cheaper, it's easier to use without worying about it as much. Both are made well and are great for the money. I prefer to read from teh Schuyler, but I prefer the TN for study, preaching, etc.
Thank you for your response Sir! It is my first bible, what do you think would benefit me more, to get the more expensive one and read it from cover to cover. Or get the TN bible which is more complete, but a harder read? I am planning on preaching down the road, but am pretty new to the word of God so i will atleast have to spend a year reading the bible before i do so.
@@kimandersen5223 in that case, I'd go with the Thomas Nelson. It's easy enough to read and it's better for preaching and studying.

Would like to see a quick side by side comparison of this and the Schuyler Stridon since according to Schuyler they will eventually expand it to other translations like KJV and NKJV.

Is it Cambridge text?
That barely looks like a red. I have seen literally 0 premium bibles with art glide that is actually red. It always has a pinkish hue to it. Its like the world has forgotten what colors look like. Red hues towards pink, and blue hues towards a more violet color. Im seeing it everywhere. There cant be that many color blind people out there. There just cant be.
Red, should look like red. Not pinkish in any way.
Surprised you didn’t address the inner margin space. Words go right into the gutter . Other then that it’s beautiful.

Wow this is surprisingly good! I love the size too, not too big. But the readability though, this is a great choice for preachers. One thing I wished they did is make that red in the gilding pop a little more but not a big deal. Thank you for sharing!
