I don’t quite understand. If I set my upper and lower lower level at -2 that means my vocal will be less dynamic in volume but more consistent? If I set top and lower at -6 it’s going to have dynamics but less consistent volume?
Happy to help! The purple handles (maximum and minimum) are the amount that Xrider will turn up or down the vocal in order to reach the target level. So higher values means Xrider will do more (making it more consistent in level), and lower values means it will just do a little bit (preserving the natural dynamics more). Here's how to set it: 1. Set the Target Level so that the yellow line is touching near the top of the waveforms 2. Set the Maximum & Minimum (purple handles) to higher levels if you want Xrider to make bigger moves, and lower levels if you want Xrider to make smaller moves. Let us know if that helps!
Even if they're exactly the same it's for sure better than having to deal with Waves. Yearly updates, it's a nightmare to install their stuff. etc. I honestly prefer the way this company does everything.
@@davealcan ok imma drop the sauce Vocal rider just don’t ride the level of the vocal.. But also rides the music and the vocals when you activate the music knob(setup via side-chain route the music bus to the vocal then insert vocals rider on the vocals, select music bus as trigger instantly the music knob will activate, adjust to taste ) for better relationship balance the music and the vocal perfectly together..one featured better than xrider . As for mv2 it does upward and downward compression resulting to a absolute controlled vocal.. Xvox pro didn’t include a upward compression.. But it’s a beast beast of a plugin
@@MultiFreddy34 not once did I say they were the same. I just think that this is a waste of money. Sing evenly. In the event that you don’t, just bring up the clip gain. Differentiate this dick. Ok? Ok.
Xvox Pro and Xrider are complete game changers and should be used in all studios
c'est tellement vrai
Good bye Waves Vocal Rider😁
Yeah, it's better somehow
i was rey say this😂 im bout to find this plugin somewhere
the graph is fire
This is just AWESOME.
Xrider definitely a must get
Looks like a good plug-in , thanks

-step brothers
would x-rider get an dark mode for the interface like the new xvox pro in a future update? is something like that planned?
I hope so too in the near future!
I have a sensitivity should have been a knob too. I think you all should update. I also have x pitch and Xvox pro.
Looks good! Anyone compared this to HoRNet's AutoGain plugins?
After applying Xrider to the vocal, can you bounce in place of the processed vocal? So I can have both raw and processed
Yes! You can do this in your DAW
Sir, should i apply this in the recording time or after recording when it is to be processed?
Most of the time, applying after recording is the best / most popular
@@nuroaudio thanks for your response boss.😍😍
how do i get the Xrider to write to automation in reaper? i feel like ive tried everything

@@nuroaudio thank you I had it backwards then. Just bought it
Can Xrider be used for gain staging?
This is what had in mind too!
Can you use this in realtime for recording or will it cause latency?
You can use it in realtime, it is zero latency!
amazing thanks@@nuroaudio. Is the Xvox also zero latency when the reverbs and delay etc. are engaged?
@@Harryonprod.snBeats yes it is!
@@nuroaudio wowwww
@@nuroaudio Zero latency on Windows, too?
How long will the sale be going on for Xrider?
It’s currently scheduled through Friday!
Thanks for the quick response. I think I'll grab it.
make one for basses
This works on bass (or any instrument) - just use slower speed for lower frequency instruments!
Does this really work

Dude use a compressor ffs

Learn to differentiate dude!
