I lost my Mom unexpectedly on November 20, 2019. This was one of her favorite songs, and she loved the Gaithers. I am hurting. Singing it with them is bittersweet and the tears are flowing.

A genuine christian is torn between going and remaining. To go and be with the Lord, and remaining to enjoy the fellowship with brethren.

I wrote If We Never Meet Again in 1982. My maternal grandmother was in a coma and I didn't know if she would recover. Two days later she passed away, on April 8.
Just shocked how old this band is. May the ones departed RIP. Soon we shall meet on the beautiful show. Thank you so much for writing this song, May you be blessed

What d'ya know I got it right. Everytime I sing this song, I always sing, "Where separations come no more." But it never made any sense to me. I only sang it cause that's what it sounded like . . . guess I was singing it right, after all lol
