So sad she left the world and with Jesus now. RIP Skeeter.
Loved Skeeter. I'm in the middle of reading "Bus Fare to Kentucky" her biography. This lady lived an eventful life, filled with tragedy as well as success. I'm surprised nobody's ever made a movie about her.

What a beautiful song, but what is so much better is the relationship that she speaks of and sings from the heart, because the relationship with Jesus Christ is really what matters. Thankfully, we can share Him through song and prayers and one another.

Another great voice, unique like most of the real country, overlooked by Hall of Fame, not by fans of real country music talent. Actually, she passed 9-19-2004, only 4 days before passing of another great voice, person, Roy Drusky 9-23-2004. A nice tibute to both, Skeeter & Roy, given by Steve Wariner on Opry Live, Saturday night following their passings. Haven't seen show on you tube, such a touching tribute to two of the Opry's greats.
