I was living in the bottom end of south London, and I went to school on the edge of the countryside. I felt so alone and isolated. I had no one. I was autistic so I don't mind being alone but I had no one even if I wanted to. I used to come home from school after being alone and bullied all day, dogged by teachers and harassed or ignored by my peers and would listen to the blues deep deep into the night. Sometimes it would just be me and the blues singer reaching out to the lord. May god have mercy
