@@Tyler.254 its what they do in nature. dogs arent like humans where we spend a huge amount of time with our children. even with wolf packs, the children eventually leave to start new families. that's how you get good populations and genetic diversity

Living things grow up and live on their own away from their parent(s) once they dont need their parent(s) to take care of them anymore. For a dog, thats around 3-6 months old.

I don't completely believe this story. They said mamá was malnourished yet in day 2 she looks very healthy. A bit of embellishment but thats par for the course on TH-cam or pretty much anything beyond a camera
@@utecastronoova863 also day one the puppies had their eyes open um no dosent work like that if momma dog just gave birth. Those puppies were a few weeks old at that point of day one. Just sayin
Ute Castronoova, I had to go back and watch again to make sense of it, but here's the scoop: Thom wasn't the one who found the mama giving birth. He said that a 'couple' on a hike found the dogs. Later (not the same day), Thom took in Ruby & her pups to serve as their foster dad. He didn't mention the time frame, but you're right that the pups were older than newborns when they moved in with Thom, and also Ruby had gained some weight by then.
Ruby went from being lost in the woods, hungry, cold, scared, in labor to a loving, supportive, luxurious, healthy and (most especially) a KIND home. Talk about extremes. Wonderful families.
She looks like such a different dog. This is what love and proper care does for an animal. Now her babies don't have to live the hard life she did.
And they are so close to foster spontaneous visits 🐶🐕🦮🐕🦺

I totally agree. I recently got a dog (3 weeks ago) thinking to foster but now I cannot imagine letting him go!
Foster you mean stealing because some animals will go a distance away from where they live to give birth which is probably this case i hope I'm not alone thinking this because someone out there is missing there pet.

I am so grateful to be alive today. My girlfriend saved my life last night. This is a selfie I took in the emergency room after having a severe allergic reaction to almonds. I went into anaphylaxis, meaning my face, my lips, my eyes, my tongue, and my throat all started swelling up rapidly, making it almost impossible for me to breathe. I also had a rash all over my entire body, and I was extremely red. Staying alive had never felt more difficult. At one point, my nasal passage was completely blocked, and it was getting more and more difficult to breathe. They shot me up with Benadryl, steroids, they gave me a breathing tube, and even other stuff that I can’t even remember, and it caused all of the swelling and the rash to go away. Because this was a severe allergic reaction, I need to continue taking steroids and Benadryl for the next week, because it is possible that the allergic reactions could come back at any point over the next week. The steroids and Benadryl make me feel like a zombie, and I really want to take care of my health, so this will be my main focus over the next week. I want to thank my amazing girlfriend, who made the decision to take me to the emergency room the second I started feeling itchy. I was hesitant about going, because I didn’t even want to believe this was actually happening. If it weren’t for my girlfriend driving me to the emergency room only minutes after eating the almonds, there is a good chance that I wouldn’t have made it according to the doctor. This has been without a doubt the hardest few days of my life, but I also look at them as the most important few days of my life. These moments have reminded me about what’s really important in life, and it has made me so grateful to even be here on this earth. I will be prioritizing my health over the next week, and I’ll post updates about how I feel. Thank you all for being patient during these difficult times. This week has been NUTS (too soon for jokes? 😅)

actually i think the derivation is from the English word "dug" which also means tit or breast ...the possible history is that human babies were sometimes fed by dogs when the mother couldn't breast feed. that had a double duty in that the wolves that fed them also learned to care about human beings -- sad story of domestication of wolves. see what they got in return? this tradition is still alive among some traditional peoples like in far northern Canada.

I've heard that once a dog is abandoned they remember. I watched a clip of a dog who watched his new owner sleep so he wouldn't be left behind. This guy is amazing!
