We do deserve dogs. It's a small minority of people that have so little empathy that they'd abandon a dog. I take that back, there's Trump supporters, they're not a minority.
the messed up thing that hurt the most was the fact that she was still so trusting and loving of people. pit bulls are naturally a very trusting breed sadly, but normally after severe abuse there will be SOME hesitancy. The fact that she was so trusting immediately, especially of a stranger makes me think that she was actually well taken care of originally. she was socialized and shown love, then just left there. a person who can physically abuse then abandon an animal in an apartment is horrible, but the thought of someone loving and caring for an animal then abandoning them in an apartment is so much worse to me. Thankfully now she has a happy home and a pool and all the grass she wants to chew!
Believe it or not I once heard of a lady who did something like this and her reason was ain’t no body getting her dog that she raised and trained and poured money into and basically the dog brought her happiness and she didn’t want anyone else to have happiness on her dime or some insane rationality like that …..ppl Never fail to amaze my disappointment levels ….

I've heard of cases of the owner of a pet being hospitalized and sadly not making it, and then their family just abandonning the pet just like that, on the street or in the woods or whatever because nobody wanted it. Especially in countries like France where you have to pay to abandon a pet legally, to a shelter, normally. Of course, the owner has some responsibility for not taking the right measures to find someone to care about their pet if something happened to them, but well, you can't always expect something happening too you.

Exactly, I don't know why I watch Dodo, it really breaks my heart every time I see an abandoned or neglected dog/cat. They are so much better than humans, the way they forgive humans after the abuse they endure it really is humbling. I wish I could adopt them all.

I watch this one every once in a while. I can't believe someone left her like that. Unimaginable. It's like starving an angel. Why? How could you? We'll never understand why or how. But here's why I watch. The right person found her and loved her back to health. Then found her a forever home where she gets to live happily ever after. It restores my faith.
The Lil Girl I rescued thanks me every day in ways not imaginable. I love her so much, her tail never stops wagging and she's the happiest and sweetest Lil Girl I've ever seen and very protective of me.

my dad did this part time job where he made cats trust humans again so he had no reaction to when they bite and scratch him it was painful but he didn't care so I want to do that but with dogs my two dogs at my house think am a dog because of how one of them made me smell like a dog so I think I would do great

They went to the house to change the locks. As a landlord myself, I don’t change the locks unless there was a threat or mistrust. Plus they said change the locks, not clean out the house. I think that dog was abandoned and left for dead. I wish we has more strict laws in pet ownership.

I know - I think I would be a bad foster cause I would end wanting to keep them all!! Especially in this case- she did a great job on transforming this dog back to great health and a loving- playful doggie🐕🐶 I had tears when she took her to new home - which I'm sure the lady who adopted her treats her very well 🙂
We have 2 dogs and when they play my puppy, Ernie, will just roll over and my 7 year old lab, Winnie, will either put a paw over him as if to say “my toy you stay down” or run grab a toy and roll over next to him and then they play with it
I love how this lady tells this little skinny girl how beautiful it makes me so happy when these rescuers tell the animals they are beautiful because they are! I’m so happy for this little girl and thanks for taking such good care of her!

This breed has such a special place in my heart, they are such loving, good and loyal dogs. It breaks my heart to walk into a shelter because the majority of those dogs in those cages are pit bulls. They are a misunderstood, mistrusted and abused breed that is over bred because they make such adorable lil puppied, but then they hit that 2 year mark and alot of people find them overwhelming. Once you get through that terrible two's phase, they are so worth it, they are even worth it during the terrible two's phase.

I am a 23 year old man, and I genuinely almost cried seeing her in the beginning sitting in that corner. I felt my heart break when I saw her at first... I'm so happy to see her looking healthy and with a new family that loves her!!! Faith in humanity has been restored! ♥️♥️♥️
The lady that is adopting the dog looks like a perfect match. She looks stable and has probably lived in the same house for several years and is secure and can provide medical attention if the dog ever needed it. If you can't afford to give a dog to love and care it needs please don't get a dog. If you do not have a stable life how can you create a stable life for a dog or any animal. This is why I don't have a pet. I would love to have an animal to love but financially I could not provide the care that an animal needs. It's just being responsible

Same here, i love dogs so much, but i'm not able to provide a good life for a dog, let alone dogs, i'm not financially stable yet, but this my dream to at least have a dog in the future triggers me to succeed so i can make my dog/dogs happy, to help others in need we need to help ourselves first, be abundant first then we'll be able to take care of dogs/ others well. Whilst l totally agree with this comment l have met a few homeless people who have had a canine companion that they obviously love and look after to the best of their abilities and l'm sure their companion helps them in many ways.
I can't believe what cruelty exists in some people. Tied to a tree ? I never liked people who make animals suffer. My Mother's Beautiful Girl Staffy finally went to God after a long life of 17 year's treated like the Queen that she was. We had her over 11 year's as she was rescued from a life outside with no love or Freedom's to run and be herself. Rescuing a dog especially Staffy breed's is extremely important, Because they have soooo much love to give.
Ever think the person is dead, and couldn't return home? This dog was not abused, or else she would have cowered from people. She waited patiently for her two legged friend to return.
@@rockon8174 Unfortunately, there are more often people who abandon their loved animals bc they are overwhelmed and have to move to someplace that doesn’t take pets. Especially in apartments. They assume someone will come and find their pet left behind, and are too avoidant to notify anyone that they did that. It happened all the time at the place we used to live.
This makes me want to cry, just from how strong that dog is. I always want to give up, but if that gorgeous dog can do it, so can I. And anyone else can too.

Such a great dog, no agression. Eventhough she was starving she was soooo sweet and loving. I was very happy to see she has a really comfortable bed and lots and lots of toys and love. These wonderful people are definitely giving her beyond what she needs but deserves. A very heart warming story. Thank you!!!

Pit Bulls are the most loving and forgiving Dogs of ALL Breeds. I just rescued one Seven Months ago From a Pup they were using her as a Bait Dog. Wow I'm in Colorado too but pretty far from the Springs, I'm in Fort Collins. Thank you so much for Rescuing her, she's a real beauty and so sweet, but then again I never met a Pitt that wasn't. 🐾🐾🐾🐾

I was thinking the same thing about the owner dying, but - somebody had to remove the body and they left a little Daenerys behind. So glad she was found and rescued
I think that is very terrible, but you don't know if the dog has attacked before, I have a pit that is the nicest dog ever, but she can't be around smaller dogs, they probably knew someone would find her, maybe they thought if they took her somewhere she would be put down, idk, trying to think of a logic to why they would leave her
They probably used her for breeding and then sold the pups for fighting. You can tell she had babies. Thats so sad. Breaks my heart. I only wish the people who do these things to animals would have to endure the same exact treatment themselves. Eye for an eye.

If you can't take care of an animal and you cannot commit your life then you should never get a pet. Dogs look at you as a part of their pack and to them that is family. Thank God for this woman for taking care of this poor dog. ❤️
@Lv11 whatever it is I only speak the truth. Too bad if a dead beat doesn't like to hear it as it is. I saved a dog today who wandered away from it's home and luckily it wasn't too far from the pups home because I was lead to the owners door. I rang that Bell until I got an answer and sure enough the owner was older and forgot to let the dog in. I explained that the dog could have been killed if someone ran the dog over. The owner was very happy that I bought the dog back home. Where he belongs.
A big "Thank You" to all the people who put this one together. When I saw that first video I almost cried to see how malnourished she was. It takes a big heart to see her in that condition and not lose it. Incredible rescue! Incredible people who fostered her and put her on the road to recovery and got her a new home with a new owner who truly wanted her. She is a loving dog with a fairy tale ending.
That poor baby probably hadn't rested in so long... she sensed the compassion in this people. She knew she was safe. Such a pretty baby. She got so many goodies but it was so much more than she had ever had. And she looked so proud and thankful 🐾💜

I watch this one every once in a while. I can't believe someone left her like that. Unimaginable. It's like starving an angel. Why? How could you? We'll never understand why or how. But here's why I watch. The right person found her and loved her back to health. Then found her a forever home where she gets to live happily ever after. It restores my faith.

They went to the house to change the locks. As a landlord myself, I don’t change the locks unless there was a threat or mistrust. Plus they said change the locks, not clean out the house. I think that dog was abandoned and left for dead. I wish we has more strict laws in pet ownership.

I know - I think I would be a bad foster cause I would end wanting to keep them all!! Especially in this case- she did a great job on transforming this dog back to great health and a loving- playful doggie🐕🐶 I had tears when she took her to new home - which I'm sure the lady who adopted her treats her very well 🙂

We have 2 dogs and when they play my puppy, Ernie, will just roll over and my 7 year old lab, Winnie, will either put a paw over him as if to say “my toy you stay down” or run grab a toy and roll over next to him and then they play with it

This breed has such a special place in my heart, they are such loving, good and loyal dogs. It breaks my heart to walk into a shelter because the majority of those dogs in those cages are pit bulls. They are a misunderstood, mistrusted and abused breed that is over bred because they make such adorable lil puppied, but then they hit that 2 year mark and alot of people find them overwhelming. Once you get through that terrible two's phase, they are so worth it, they are even worth it during the terrible two's phase.

The lady that is adopting the dog looks like a perfect match. She looks stable and has probably lived in the same house for several years and is secure and can provide medical attention if the dog ever needed it. If you can't afford to give a dog to love and care it needs please don't get a dog. If you do not have a stable life how can you create a stable life for a dog or any animal. This is why I don't have a pet. I would love to have an animal to love but financially I could not provide the care that an animal needs. It's just being responsible

They assume someone will come and find their pet left behind, and are too avoidant to notify anyone that they did that. It happened all the time at the place we used to live.

Such a great dog, no agression. Eventhough she was starving she was soooo sweet and loving. I was very happy to see she has a really comfortable bed and lots and lots of toys and love. Pit Bulls are the most loving and forgiving Dogs of ALL Breeds. I just rescued one Seven Months ago From a Pup they were using her as a Bait Dog. I think that is very terrible, but you don't know if the dog has attacked before, I have a pit that is the nicest dog ever, but she can't be around smaller dogs, they probably knew someone would find her, maybe they thought if they took her somewhere she would be put down, idk, trying to think of a logic to why they would leave her
They probably used her for breeding and then sold the pups for fighting. You can tell she had babies. Thats so sad. Breaks my heart. I only wish the people who do these things to animals would have to endure the same exact treatment themselves. Eye for an eye.
I’m afraid that I would never have been able to let her go anywhere......just hold her, feed her and love her so that she forgets the horror of her abandonment. Sweetest baby!!!

If you can't take care of an animal and you cannot commit your life then you should never get a pet. Dogs look at you as a part of their pack and to them that is family. Thank God for this woman for taking care of this poor dog. ❤️
Has it ever crossed your mind the owner may have died? The dog never cowered in fear which is a good indicator that the dog was loved.
@Lv11 whatever it is I only speak the truth. Too bad if a dead beat doesn't like to hear it as it is. I saved a dog today who wandered away from it's home and luckily it wasn't too far from the pups home because I was lead to the owners door. I rang that Bell until I got an answer and sure enough the owner was older and forgot to let the dog in. I explained that the dog could have been killed if someone ran the dog over. The owner was very happy that I bought the dog back home. Where he belongs.

A big "Thank You" to all the people who put this one together. When I saw that first video I almost cried to see how malnourished she was. It takes a big heart to see her in that condition and not lose it. Incredible rescue! Incredible people who fostered her and put her on the road to recovery and got her a new home with a new owner who truly wanted her. She is a loving dog with a fairy tale ending.
That poor baby probably hadn't rested in so long... she sensed the compassion in this people. She knew she was safe. Such a pretty baby. She got so many goodies but it was so much more than she had ever had. And she looked so proud and thankful 🐾💜
