I had just made a comment about this very thing. It's good to know you guys are watching stuff like this so you can catch and fix these things as early as possible.
Oh and since hutts mentioned it, making the black heart demons that fiend drops walk faster so they are more useful might be a good idea

It isn't really a soft lock, it us hutts' fault, because he should blow the TNT (idk the explosive thing in the poop bridge ) from the side, if you, He Is GoNnA dIeEeEeEeEee, no he wouldn't because that bomb don't deal self damage

Idk why hutts hates fiend on his streams, hes basically the lost except without flight, without spectral, without free devil deals, and worse stats.

@@DamageMaximo triple shot in ab+ is a dps down, it's the same tears down as quad shot with a wider spread so you end up only hitting enemies with 1 or 2 tears
You can also turn on an experimental feature in the mod menu by pressing C. It gives fiend fireballs you can shoot with double tap, but it's not finished yet.
They probably made this feature so that fiend will match the friend. I mean seriously why the good friend can spit fireballs while his evil twin can't?
When I first saw this mod, I thought it was Friend Folio.

I know about her aswell. It gave me the chills. If hutts sees this go into error room 17000 in the console menu.
That poop bridge room is a BIG "oof" and oversight by the mod creator. There's a reason Ed Mcmillen doesn't put rooms that are only passable by crossing gaps in the base game. Those rooms are WAY too easy to softlock in, because bridging physics in this game are far from great. It's too easy to mess up bombing a rock and suddenly crossing a gap without flight is no longer possible. Hopefully the mod creators patch that room to have a more reliable solution, or just remove it completely. It needs to be reworked.

Hutts if you press c you open the fiend menu, you can make him shoot fireball and he start whit a low homing, it's a bit more balanced and fun

I have to admit, Fiend is a pretty interesting character, but if I have one thing that bugs me about him, then it's that he's always on "pseudo-womb". I know probably nobody understands what I mean, so let me explain it.
As we all know once fiend gets hit, he loses all his health, goes down to half a black heart and drops the rest of it as full hearts, we all know that. However this mechanic only seems to work "properly" when Fiend is at an even number of hearts, with no half hearts.
Im this case (for example at the start with his three black hearts) he gets hit, loses half a heart, and drops the remaining two of his full hearts. However after that he has two and a half hearts, so if ge gets hit again he loses half a heart, goes down to two full hearts, and then drops one full heart, while the other half heart that would be remaining just vanishes.
And that's what I mean by "pseudo-womb". Fiend takes full heart damage, as long he has half a heart too much, and that is quite often considering that he can only pick up full hearts, after getting hit and dropping his health.
Of course there a half soul hearts (thank god), and he generally seems to generate a lot of health, but still, already taking damage like you're on the womb this early in the game, without having any good items, and combined with the enemies this mod adds, which can be quite a hand full to handle, I think Fiend is a bit underwhelming.
He is kinda like the lost, but without flying, spectral, an abbysmal firerate, Damage that doesn't nearly compensate the firerate, and his gimmick while definitely interesting (and I mean very interesting) just isn't good enough to counterbalance these "flaws".

The sunglasses also give you... 12 coins I think? when you pick them up, and you get a small 'speed up' when you are near a dropped coin, it is neat! I honestly didn't even realize the damage at picking up coins at first haha.

Hutts in the the first devil deal you could have taken both items and ended with 2 black hearts by:
1. Take lil brim
2. Take eye of belial and then quickly running and picking up the black hearts
Also you could have kept the book of the dead by picking up the satanic bible and quickly running out of the devil deal, dying and then returning as Dark Judas inside the devil deal

I think of dark judas as more of a transformation than a completely different character so technically this is still a fiend run

So, I assume you know this and are purposefully not doing it to make it harder, but you can turn on settings that make Fiend start with homing and/or and additional fireball attack that make him a lot more bearable as a character.
