- If you installed Windows 10 and can't launch the Settings App don't worry it seems Microsoft knows about this issue and provided us a troubleshooter installer to fix this issue. This installer also fixes the Xbox Store crash as well.

This issue was fixed during a Windows update patch. If you are still having issues it might be something else.
I didn't have this issue 2 weeks ago. It's so weird.
It just updated mine with this Feature update to Windows 10, version 1709. Now I can access Settings again as well as Edge.
says no issue found and still "settings" bugs out

I can't open the settings apps so I downloaded the troubleshooter...but it says it didn't detect any problems ? help pls
in my case i was trying to see if i can extend my display on my tv but my tv didnt show of course but for some reason my settings wont show up like if i tap on settings it open and shows on the task bar but it doesnt show on my entire screen like nothing pops up pn the screen when i tap on the settings app on my task bar, it says its open but the page is like invisible or not on my monitor screen

The settings window will open just fine. However, my problem now is that when i press the sign in options in the settings it makes the whole settings window to freeze immediately. Troubleshooter did not find the issue. Any tips?:)

I hope you can help me with this when I am in any window when I click a link it open a screen it says I need a app to open this https and no other options the links in edge work when I'm in the browser but not any other. like if I'm in steam click a link I get this but if I copy and paste the link to edge it will open it acts like the links wont open edge and when I click the app store nothing happens this happens in all my prograns is there a way to get edge to open the links?
Hey mine is when I go to the themes settings it's not responding. It starts happening because I paste a theme in windows/resources/themes but no files were put there and then when I open themes in settings its not responding, it just close there. Can someone help me
Nothing worked for me. At last i ran chk dsk and updated all apps in windows store and suddenly windows update was ready for restart. I did update and restart from power button and voila, settings, search, action centre everything started workinh again. I am still unsure if chkdsk played any role in it.

I have this problem in windows 10 where windows update is not working, when I click on check for updates, it keeps on checking for like half an hour then gives an error message of windows update has spotted an error 0x80080005, and even when I launch the update trouble shooter, it detects problems for half an hour then checks pending restarts for 1 hour and then gives the message of windows needs to be updated and trouble shooter has made some changes to fix the issue, but again when I click on check for updates, it gives the same error code of 0x80080005 again and again and again and again, plz help

Jacob Holloway its the windows 10 installer link in the bio. You have to click the link and download the file. Then the same troubleshoot menu from the video pops up.

Thank you for this video! But, here's what happens with my computer. So, my Browsers don't work at ALL! And, when I try to click the Menu Button on the bottom left it just makes me restart. This problem is very confusing.

The Windows Store doesn't open for me and some other apps, such as the weather app, get an error code: "There is a problem with [app]. Contact your system administrator about repairing or reinstalling it." And idea how to fix this?
Parker Craft if you have a anti-virus program try disabling it and restarting your machine and see that helps. sometime anti-virus software cause issues with new Operating System especially if don't support the current OS installed on the machine.
I had that same issue, but Windows techs fixed it. I factory resetted to fix my other issue.
