In this video, I will show how to solve the problem of windows 10 settings not opening.
While many people will balk and wish that Microsoft wasn’t slowly burying the trusted Control Panel, the Settings app has grown into a key feature of Windows 10. It’s the launchpad into controlling your system.
If Settings stops working, Windows becomes pretty dysfunctional.
So if your Settings app is stalling or just not opening in the first place, here’s a bunch of fixes that should get it back to working order.
Solution 1:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\ Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer
Solution 2:
SFC /scannow
Solution 3:
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
Solution 4:
net user newusername newpassword /add
net localgroup administrators newusername /add
