My goose is conflicted. I have 6 ducks and a goose. The goose wants to greet me, but also wants to stay with it's ducky pals so it starts running my way and then turns around to go back to it's ducky friends when it realizes they aren't joining along.

I went and fed the Gooseys at Abindon on thames yesterday. They greet me like this. I find it a little embarrassing as all the locals give me the stink eye for causing a racket 😅

They'll see your whole family as part of the flock . However any new addition to the family will not be welcomed easily. They used to attack my brothers in law for example But not my sisters.
