- This week Jared is joined by @caitlin-peluffo & @matchmakermaria ! Jared gets right into it and asks his cohosts if he’s crazy for disliking this bread policy at a restaurant in St. Louis. Don’t shame a man into asking for more, just put the bread on the table! It goes back to regular programing here at JTrain and we discuss YOU! We get a mailbag of a friend realizing their roommate’s ex boyfriend had actually cheated on her during the time of their relationship. Do you tell your friend or let it be because they have already broken up? The three then go into a new segment called Excited or Despy!? Sometimes sweet things are nice to hear, but their delivery can be a bit A.I-ish. Is this guy excited or desperate?

could not agree with Jared more about the parm + olive oil + salt + HELLA PEPPER + red pepper flakes situation. favorite meal. I eat it at home and put it out anytime anyone comes over. sometimes I even dip my pizza crust into it when I go the hand-tossed crust route
Maria is refreshingly honest and she and Caitlin had great energy together!
Parm and olive oil with sea salt is literally the most classic snack… one billion perfect with Jared on this one
Why are they acting like mixing parm and olive oil is insane?? 😭 it’s a pretty standard Italian combo.
This gave the same vibe of when people act like they don’t know about very popular things. It would be as if I told you I have never heard of Kim Kardashian or I’ve never heard of McDonalds..it’s annoying

Olive oil and parmesan is a great combo for pasta, but I don't want that mix to dip my bread. Gimme a little olive oil and maybe balsamic. Totally with Maria and Caitlin on this!!
American of Italian descent raised in NY. I do the oil concoction at a restaurant. I have had waitstaff encourage it. Totally on team Jared with this. 😅

Olive Oil + Parm combo is a MUST! 😌
As a former cheesecake factory server, that bread policy is trash. I used to cram as much bread as I could into each basket and double butter to save myself from making multiple trips.
The beginning of this made me hungry even though I was already eating lunch 😂 and yes Parmesan & everything in the olive oil for the bread 🤌🏽😘

Team Jared on the bread situation. Also the Pastaria in Nashville puts the bread basket on the table, the St Louis one should be fined for this behavior 😂
Monsters! Of COURSE you can add the parmesean cheese to the oil! It's a mix.. a little of this.. a little of that!

I imagine they do put out the bread basket on the table because if only one piece has been eaten out of the whole basket they have to throw it all out due to health rules, etc.

Why are they acting as if you were saying the craziest most unhinged thing!!! Of course you use the small plate and pretend to be the chef and add olvide oil and spices and whatever else you want !!! Hahahah
I still miss the old JTrain podcast, gotta admit, but I'm easing in to the new version. Can I just respectfully ask that the person in the background (producer?) not be audible? It's like a female Ed McMahon laughing over and over in the background and it honestly gets very grating. Clearly this ins't a content critique but just a suggestion about how things sound in podcast format :)
