New wolverine 72" skid steer brush cutter

New Wolverine 72" Brush Cutter for skid steer from Richie Bros Auction!
this mower is pretty good so far, will upload more as i use it but theres some down falls to it
the blades are a little weak and small for the size also can't find any the same when they break... but blue diamond sells some the same lenght , but wider and thicker, only problem is they have a 1-1/2 bold hole and the mower only has a 1" hole so have to bore that out and get bigger bolts. also all the bolts on this thing were lose took them all off and lock tighted since the gearbox was going to fly away...
has lots of power on my S185 and its not a high flow model.

Hey Logan I am thinking of buy the wolverine brush cutter/slasher how do you rate it?

Well probably a 3 out of 5, the blades it comes with are junk broke in the fist few hours. And all the bolts need to be lock tite and weld key stock around the head, as the vibrations will steady loosen off the bolts. Other than that the mower is great

Depends what you're looking for, any just random steel parts I would get built stronger. Blades I get from blue diamond, I have another video with the link for them and how I built them in.

Any update on the brush cutter? How has it been holding up?

Overall quite well after a few upgrades, on the blades and the "arm". The gear box has been flawless. For the price of this compared to a USA brand its definitely worth it! But blade and arm upgrades are a must. Unless you can hit no tree stumps, rocks, random steel etc...

What did you do to beef up the arm?
