Congrats on being the first non-clickbait tips video i've come accross for the Legion Go. Some genuinely useful tips in there. I liked, commented, AND subscribed.
Hey, thanks!
Please don’t suggest to people they install a beta bios because I read on Reddit where some had real problems with their devices afterward and also experienced very hot temperatures after changing settings. You might consider putting a disclaimer that strongly suggests creating a RESTORE POINT just in case something goes wrong like the black screen problems.
I downloaded FXSound and selected the gaming profile. It literally doubled the ammount of sound coming from my GO. It's at least twice as loud now and comparable to my Ally. It doesn't quite have the range of the Ally. I'm getting the same amount of sound at about 35% with FX sound as my GO was putting out at 100%.
Nice video man, thanks for the help.
awesome!!! thanks!
Great work 👍
Great video. Thank you!
How is your experience with legion go so far?
Loving it. Stay tuned for the updated review
I wouldn't recommend going beyond the 25watt performance mode an early known issue with the legion go is that thermal throttling kicks in rather quickly.
We are on the Beta bios which works correctly - th-cam.com/video/FxuE_5WFLpE/w-d-xo.html
I've run mine at 30 the left controller gets pretty hot. 28 watts seems to be the sweet spot for higher performance the 2 watt difference between 28 and 30 doesn't seem to yield any noteworthy improvement. Balanced on TDP and OS seem pretty optimal unless the game is more demanding.
where do I activate bypass charging mode?
For sound -install FX Sound.Better sound.
Great video. For the Steam mouse with joystick and tiggers to click do you have to have the Steam app always open? I dont use Steam that much and stick with Xbox app.
Yes you need to have it open
@@GamesInHandI want to let you no first hand that this actually fucked my whole gaming experience up it’s constantly glitching and popping up random keyboards. I took it off and now I don’t have a mouse at all so thanks for not letting us l so Amy of that before permanently fucking up our shit
lol learn how to use windows and pipe down. @@jibberjabberz
What Equalizer preset did you set in the Realtek Audio Console? I couldn't read your screen or determine the values set in your video.
YES! My EQ is greyed out and I am unable to adjust any settings, do you know why that is?
**FIX** Go to System, Sound, Properties then scroll down to ‘Audio enhancements’ select ‘device defaults effects’ from the drop down- this will enable you to adjust the EQ settings…. None of the EQ presets match so you will need to manually match your EQ to these settings at 2:37
Btw, it’s not as good as the ally but does sound SO much better
I just got mine and after all the updates,I finally downloaded a game and it's painfully slow it's been 14 hours and it's only at 10 percent. HELP what do I do.
thx
Typing this on my Legion Go now. 4:55 the trigger option was helpful.
2:14 I have to disagree with those settings sounding better. it sounds awful. I think it sounds best if you set it to "Bass" preset since the speakers lack bass to begin with.
How can i use xbox game bar to save my clips please
how do I control the microphone on the Legion go I can't find the settings everything seems more complicated compared to the ally?
Wow... what do you want to 'control' with your microphone?
Are you a sound technician?
Oh and in the end it's just another Windows 11 device.
Did you ever try Google things?
Cool
can you show how to make macros on this device? Didnt work with mine..
When I set custom doesn’t matter the wattage the fan goes full speed. Any body else with this issue?
How do you have a 6G ram on the Lenovo? I only have 4 or 8
Look up beta bios update. It's experimental branch.
Beta Bios - th-cam.com/video/FxuE_5WFLpE/w-d-xo.html
You can now just update the bios like normal and have more options for VRAM
How disable button M1 and M2?
why would you need to adjust your RAM? battery life ? upgrade?

You mean the script that keeps Legion Space in the background at boot?
You have to open Task Scheduler and click import task, then browse to the script you downloaded.
@@ijmoney4539 doesn't show up

Hi, I love you! Jehovah provides us with all we need.
Dies anyone else play halo and the look thumbstick feel like it has no aim assist?
Do you still prefer the Asus Ally over the Lenovo Legion go?
Just get both that’s what I did, I bought my onexplayer for the price of both the Ally & the Legion go so you can’t go wrong with getting both, so affordable
Definitely not affordable for everyone to get both. If you're looking to get one of the two, it depends on your preferences. Go is bigger, heavier, has a better screen, runs slightly better, and has better general functionality as a laptop or tablet with the detachable controllers and the FPS mode turning the controller into a mouse. The Ally is smaller, lighter, has better front firing speakers, runs slightly worse, but has VRR, and is mostly only useful as a gaming machine. There are other differences, but those are the ones that immediately come to mind. Both great portables. The Legion Go fits my preferences far better, so that's what I'm sticking to. Also, if you do choose the Go or the Ally, they are both working through software kinks, and the Ally even has some hardware issues, so just keep in mind that new tech needs time to improve.
@@YourFather311Please tell me you are not serious. Many can barely afford one and have to sell multiple things to buy ONE device. You suggest buying both?!?!
Be careful that steam controller setup will fuck you up. Bro didn’t say that it will fight against the already working controls you have when playing games and will pop up a keyboard randomly just don’t do it.
You only want to set the desktop configuration otherwise it will conflict in games you are correct
lol thats not your fault its his for being a dumb ass lol

You don't need (nor want) to download / install software to disable a program to start at startup.
Sheesh that's about the worst advice you can give.
