Great to see this type of facility emerging in the UK. Companies like McLaren and Cosworth etc. are incredibly talented and progressive. Cutting edge companies that are leaders in the 21st century...not followers. So much of the initiative, motivation and drive come from not only Bruce's legacy but Ron Denis as well. That intense effort to do something well has been lost for decades in the UK but has risen from the ashes again in these places and companies like McLaren. Keep pushing forward...

We were part of the construction build on the MPC facility, a great project to be involved in and Mr Dennis certainly knew how to drive a project - David Ball Projects Ltd

@krmnarrow I doubt Bruce Mclaren had such a big vision. Maybe, but i think if he could see how strong Mclaren are today after so many years, managing to become a car manufacturer with such facilities and all that from an F1 team when so many other teams failed to even keep racing i think he would be in awe.
I have to take my hat to Dennis. Bruce gave the name but Ron was the one who really made things happen.

@albokid52 "tonne" is part of the metric units, being 1'000 kilogramms. A "ton" is the empirical equivalent and equals 2'240 pounds, rendering it almost the same.
