No idea that machining and manufacturing staff worked in day and nights shifts around the clock . Super impressive.
Outstanding video. It is great to see some of the people who make the team function. There didn't seem to be a lot of stress in spite of the pressure to succeed. To me that is the hallmark of a high functioning team. I'm sure that we didn't see any of the problems that are inevitable but I bet the team's escallation and problem solving processes can address them well. It's getting more and more exciting now. Good skill and success to all.
This feels like an old unboxed when it was more about the team rather than the show 😊
i hope the MCL37 is competitive this year so that lando and oscar get good points

@@sammypage4563 im not expecting a championship winning car whatsoever ik it’s gonna take some time for mclaren to make a car like that but as long as it’s better than the MCL36 then it’s good improvement and the team is going into the right direction and that’s what im hoping for and maybe it’ll allow mclaren to place ahead of the alpine this upcoming season in the constructors too

they have a competitive car now. they started off the season with a terrible result of p20 and p17 but they finished 2nd and 3rd twice in a row in japan and qatar and norris finished on the podium thrice in a row and oscar finished on the podium twice in a row. their 2023 turnaround has been remarkable.
I never know what to expect of McLaren in every new season
McLaren F1 drivers Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri will be an incredible team to be watching this season. I am excited.

It’s cool seeing all the machines being ran. I watched the parts with the lathe multiple time as I’m taking a machine class at my local technology school. I hope I get to work in a large like that maybe it’ll be with McLaren

So that would mean they're doing a minimum of 12-13 hour shifts if there is a crossover? Would it not be more productive to have 3 shifts of 9 hours, keep everyone fresh, with more time for a crossover collaboration if needed and fewer people on the floor so it's never overcrowded for a day shift and skeleton crew on nights.

Hopefully, this car is more competitive and wins at least 1 race and scores more podiums and more p4 and p5 finishes. I pray so hard that this car becomes more competitive. I know that McLaren would have been more competitive in 2023 if Seidl was still part of the team but despite not having him with you, I still believe that the 2023 car will be good enough.
Glad McLaren has at least one Kiwi. Seems appropriate.

When there are 2 lifts, always take the left lift
But then once you get in and face the door, you're in the one on the right.
No C-2 or Pattern shop I see ?
