Brian K was on a drug deal with his drug buddy/ WSU campus security guard Brent Kopacka, who was gunned down in a armed standoff with swat. Kopacka left Brian’s car with his knife that Kopacka was using to chop lines of coke. He started getting perverted by looking in girls windows so Brian took off and left Kopacka there that night. A judge would start giving sanctions to the prosecution, one being, that discovery gets tossed out! The prosecution has little to no case. If you follow all the motions and hear what the reality is, you’d know the prosecution has problems.
I don't understand how people are confused. There is almost never a video recording of the crime being committed - it's just a painstaking collection of bits of evidence that create a whole picture of what happened. His car, his cell phone conveniently turned off, his frequent and unexplained presence near the house prior to the crime, him throwing out trash in the middle of the night, him changing license plates right after, the DNA on part of the murder weapon, the footprint outside Dylan's door, him knowing one of the victims, his antisocial, anti-woman personality, his fascination with murder...each of these can be explained away by itself, but put together, there is no other way to interpret this but "guilty". People have been convicted on far less.
His car had no evidence of the crime and didn't fit the years as identified by the FBI car expert, the one on king road. The year change later was done by a Moscow officer, not a car expert, and lied that the FBI expert changed the years, and lied in court about it despite the defense having the emails between that officer and FBI car expert which show the truth. And that is what is gonna u wind the whole case in the prosecution's face.

I've never seen such a sloppy crime scene, and overall investigation. There had to have been DNA evidence with all the blood but God only knows how much evidence was lost or contaminated due to poor police work
The ex boyfriend of one of the victims had red and swollen hands. BK had no injuries. He even had a physical a few days afterwards and NOTHING was noted.
Why was it terrible? I’m pretty sure that it brought some comfort to the parents of the Delphi girls to know that the public wouldn’t be able to treat the details of their children’s deaths as entertainment. The fuss that people made over not being able to watch the trial is gross. The victims and their families got justice and that’s what matters, not the public’s entertainment.
ashtonnet are you being ironic? An oddity of the DNA fro the trash story is they were said to have matched BK's father's DNA against the sheath. I don't know if this is true of not. But BK has half of his father's DNA markers. So it would have been possible to make up a DNA comparison test that was zillions of times more likely to match BK than a random person not related. But this would not mean anything at all if the comparison test has been specially made up to match BK. But it would be enought to fool the prosecution, the main stream media, and their minions in social media.

I'm so glad to see Mr Prior! I was hoping Court TV would seek him as a commentator. He'll be a good source of input & info for the Kohberger trial: I'm glad to hear from him!
How? Bundy sexually assaulted his victims. His crimes took him hours ( in some cases days) because he simply loved and enjoyed to torture and watch woman in unimaginable pain also he was obsessed with sex
He studied Bundy and BTK extensively. Kohberger even posted on Reddit asking people who had committed violent crimes to tell him how they felt when doing it. I think he 100% thought he had covered up all ofnthe evidence and committed the perfect crime. He was fascinated about that. I think the similarities with Bundy aren't any accident or coincidence at all.
Also, nothing like BTK, thankfully. He wanted to be caught but with today's science? They would have caught him. He was closer to Zodiac. He liked playing games with the media. Though different motivators and that is part of why Zodiac was never caught. Z tied up victims only once. He changed up his game. Like Son of Sam, they didn't have the same motivators. BTK made more than a few mistakes probably because like this one, the motivator was the targets. Twice, children were in the home and once a brother. He was watching but desire made him impatient. We just have to keep pushing people to take precautions and not be the perfect victims. We have to create better, good ways for children to escape abusers. That and stop releasing known predators.
If BK did not commit the crimes. Why is it that he wanted so desperately to get the DP off the table? There has to be more evidence against him & his lawyer knew about it. He is not an innocent man.
@ElizabethPrendergast-gr7wt let me ask you a question. Why would an innocent man WANT to be potentially put to death? 🙃 if he did not commit the crimes it actually makes more sense he would want DP off the table... I'm confused how that is something that you don't understand.
All he has to do is say he went to any of ten dozen parties held at the party house and immediately all DNA evidence becomes suspect. If this is the only solid evidence they have the case is anything but a slam dunk.
Considering the DNA was found under the button snap, simply being in the house isn't really going to do a good job explaining it. On top of that, unless he thought ahead and turned his phone off or placed it within the house on the date he claims (his recidence was on campus, so there's probably cams there too, which might show him or his car at home), he's going to have problems proving it. He'll also still have to explain whatever else they may have, some of which are claimed to be incriminating receipts that link him to the crime, his car seeing circling the house, and his inablity to provide an alibi. Who knows though, maybe they have nothing on him and everything claimed in the afidavits and internet are all fake, only time will tell.
Look up the Crowe case for why Chris should never be on this show or anywhere else again. Crooked cop cost San Diego millions and coerced confessions of innocent people.
Vinnie, I've always been a big fan of yours and your reporting, seeking justice for Victims. I happen to live in Northeast PA, about an hour from where the Kohbergers live. I remember the night his parents' house was raided. It was all over our local news the following day (later that morning, I guess you'd say). What stood out to me was that I remember it was bitter cold here that night. People were dealing with water lines freezing, etc. It was one of the coldest, if not the coldest night of that year. I don't remember exactly what the temperature was, I'd say single digits or low teens. I was shocked at how his parents' house was destroyed by the police. I think it was more than just the front door and the sliding door that were smashed in. I seem to remember seeing on tv not just doors but also windows that were boarded up. I immediately felt sorry for his family, who were not involved in this crime, but their house was destroyed on a frigid cold night. I can't imagine what they did to the inside of the house! Like so many, I immediately thought they must have undeniable overwhelming amount of evidence against BK. As the days went on, and we learned how they were following him, including watching him at the car wash etc., I just couldn't help but think, why didn't they arrest him when he was out and about? Was it really necessary to destroy his parents house? Couldn't they arrest him outside of the home, then go to the home with a search warrant to retrieve evidence? As I watched this all unfold on tv, I kept hearing how his car was going to be a rolling petri dish of evidence....which seemed obvious! And yet, from what I have seen, they tore his car apart and found absolutely nothing....including no evidence of cleaning supplies used to destroy evidence. I know in your mind BK was guilty on day 1. We all want justice for these innocent lives taken in such a horrific way, and their families. I just can't get over the lack of evidence in his car. Lack of evidence is evidence! I don't know how his DNA got on the button of the knife sheath. But the lack of any other DNA belonging to him in that house, or any evidence in his car... would give me reasonable doubt if I was a juror. Justice isn't just putting someone in prison, it's putting the right person in prison! I'm just not convinced either way at this point. I've seen reports that make him look guilty and I've seen reports that highlight the lack of evidence. In my opinion, if you were completely innocent and had no knowledge of a crime taking place, I can completely understand how you can't always provide a solid alibi! If he did do it, I think he would have created a solid alibi somehow. Hypothetically, let's say you were home alone all day cleaning or doing chores. You didn't talk to anyone that day, didn't go anywhere, didn't use a credit card anywhere including online, nobody saw you....cuz you were busy doing your chores......then a month later, someone accuses you of committing a crime on that day! How would you give an alibi? Everyone doesn't just live each day of their lives making sure to leave a paper trail or covering their tracks if they didn't do anything wrong! Heck, I couldn't tell you what I did 3 days ago, yet alone a month ago! I'd have to look at my credit card statements to try to figure out where I was....and if I didn't use them on that day, I wouldn't have a clue how to prove my innocence! Yet, the media pounced all over his alibi that he was out driving. I wish your reporting in this case was less biased and more factual. I'd like to see you do a deep dive on the lack of evidence, and if there is anyone else that should have been investigated. I guess none of us will know until everything does or doesn't come out at trial. I hope for the sake of justice, that they find a jury that truly goes in with an open mind and decides if he's guilty or not guilty based on evidence and not just the desire to convict someone.
He was in a murderous frenzy and somehow the shieth was ripped off by one of the girls or dropped. How else would the exact holster of the exact knife that killed them be next to Maddie’s body with solely his dna. Ridiculously guilty I can’t stand him
He left the sheath on purpose. Making that his signature move as a serial killer. He purchased that k bar knife and sheath brand new, from Amazon , 8 months before the murders. BK cleaned the sheath thoroughly, so he thought. But didn't realize he left a little bit of his DNA, inside that little hole on the snap. He is busted.
Imagine believing you know more about who committed 4 murders than the investigators and detectives and district attorneys who were there from the first day and have seen all the evidence. especially when there’s a gag order preventing all the info from coming out.. they have the right guy 100%
Zipping about someone else's residence @ some suspect hour of darkness- then returning later when the sun was up- is not 'star gazing.' He's deceitful & flippantly mimics some details from BTK.
Listen, I'm not saying whether he's guilty or not. I'm not American so I'm aware it's better to be neutral until evidence presents itself. However a lot of things are suspicious in this case not that you care. If those roommates were men you'd all be whistling a different tune. You people don't care about justice. You're just out for blood. Once you're suspected of something you're screwed. Let's hope you're not in a situation like him and that you get the due process you're denying him. This is why no one likes you people.

It's not weird at all when you consider the context. That house was known as a party spot, and everyone there was likely drunk that night. After a heavy night of drinking, people tend to sleep deeply, especially when they're hungover. If you recall the grub truck footage, the girls were struggling to stand. BK probably didn’t face much resistance, especially if he targeted something vital right away.
That is absurd and they are victims too. Absolutely disgusting that you think such a thing when 3 different investigative resources have all excluded them. Shame on you.

because its court TV and they sensationalize everything but I mean isn't one of the fathers who is very outspoken the one who first released such info to the public. Nonetheless, obviously he had been stalking the victims and house but the question is if the prosecution has any evidence to prove that and if they did that may hinder them I mean if you have a victim who seems to be "targeted" it doesn't make sense to go in a house where multiple people live as that would draw unnecessary attention to yourself and this is why the people in the interview said he went to that house with the idea that all households members would become a victim and the would be victim simply could have lucked out only from the fact that he was trying to leave the scene quickly which could be a reason why he drove so fast leaving the area because he knew he was spotted and was probable shocked to find out that no one was alerted causing him to be bold enough to go back to crime scene to find out what was going on or to find his knife sheath.
@JonahJayTaylor yes the parents released that info but I believe it was a fake kohberger account that was made after he was arrested. Many fake accounts were made. Don't quote me on this because I cannot remember the source I heard this from, however my original statement was from a court hearings so that is confirmed.
Why does Court TV invite dirty ex-cop Chris McDonough onto its channel? Chrissh McDoofus is a proven crook, liar and charlatan, who tried to frame three children for a murder they did not commit. The man has zero integrity or credibility. Frankly his inclusion on any true crime panel is a stain on that TV channel's reputation! Anyone unfamiliar with McDonough's seedy past need only Google his name for details of his leading role in an appalling and deliberate, near miscarriage of justice - the murder of 12-year-old Stephanie Crowe on January 20th 1998. Thanks to McDonough's corrupt and unlawful interrogation techniques, the victim's teen brother Michael Crowe, and his friends Aaron Houser and Joshua Treadway were wrongly accused of the murder. McDonough subjected the three innocent boys to hours of gruelling, psychologically abusive interrogation, during which they were deliberately isolated from their parents and had no access to lawyers. They were indited on murder charges, and pre-trial proceedings commenced. McDonough applied his normal approach to 'solving' the crime ie, rather than keep an open mind and be led by the evidence, he decided from the start the boys were guilty because Stephanie had been stabbed to death at home in her bedroom, and there was no forced entry to the house. He then built a (flimsy) case to fit his view. McDoofus concluded, without any actual evidence whatsoever, that it had to be an inside job by the victim's elder sibling and his pals. Thankfully a year later Stephanie's blood was (very belatedly) found on the shirt of her actual killer, transient man Richard Tuite. And then the full, shocking story of the bungled murder investigation under Chris McDonough's disastrous leadership, finally emerged. Killer Tuite had not only been seen in the Crowes' neighbourhood on the night of Stephanie's murder by multiple witnesses, he was also reported to police by several neighbours for his strange and aggressive behaviour. Tuite, was clearly under the influence of drink/drugs, was yelling threats of murder, knocking on neighbouring front doors, and trying various different ruses to get inside residents' homes. A police officer who attended that night in response to the 911 calls, briefly looked around and noted that he saw a door next to the Crowe's garage, close. This was a clear indication that someone had just entered it. The officer could not see who closed the door, and despite the earlier 911 reports of a transient male trying to enter houses, he did not investigate further. The cop left the scene at 9.56pm, reporting that the transient was 'gone on arrival'. Stephanie was stabbed to death by Tuite in her bedroom between 10 - 11pm. There was no forced entry - Tuite got in through the unlocked door next to the garage. The policeman had witnessed the killer enter the house - and missed the opportunity to arrest him, and save Stephanie's life. She was found dead on her bedroom floor by her grandmother next morning at 6.30am. bloodied from frenzied blows with a 5-6 inch bladed knife. Police briefly took Tuite in for questioning, fingerprinted him and took various items including clothing, fingernail scrapings and hair. They did only the briefest interview with him, and crucially failed to do a background check. If they had, they'd have found he had an extensive mental health and arrests history. Tuite was detained for a short time, and released. Under Chris McDonough, the investigation turned away from him, and focused in on entirely the wrong suspects - Stephanie's innocent brother and his two equally innocent and bewildered friends. Tuite's shirt had been collected during the first days of the police investigation, but thanks to McDonough's arrogant certainty that he'd solved the case and nabbed the three teen 'killers', the garment was not fully tested until a whole year later. Those poor boys (and their families, one of whom also lost a child to murder), needlessly endured a living hell, fully expecting to die in prison for a crime they didn't commit. Only due to the solid dna evidence proving their innocence, which emerged so crazily late due to police corruption, were they finally and fully cleared. Charges against the boys were dropped, and Tuite was convicted of Stephanie's murder. If Chris McDonough had had his way, Michael, Aaron and Joshua, three totally innocent men, would still be locked up in prison today, for a heinous child homicide they had nothing to do with. I wonder how those three men feel when they see their former tormentor presented on TV shows like this as a respectable voice of true crime and justice? After that disgusting scandal McDonough should have been kicked out of the police force in disgrace with no pension. Instead he was allowed to quietly retire, with his reputation - and fat pension - intact. It is a measure of the man's enormous ego that he launched a post-retirement career as a true crime media 'expert' - despite his shocking and well-documented history of corruption and failure, and his notable lack of talent as a 'broadcasshter'! Is this really the calibre of true crime 'expert' guest, Court TV is booking these days??? Get a clue, Vinnie!

Thank you! That's the point of the legal system in the USA -- that each of us is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Trial by public opinion is comparable to the Dark Ages.
I’m staying with my original theory. He thinks he’s so smart and is educated to a fairly high level in all things criminal. I believe he deliberately left the sheath and the DNA to link himself to the murders but is planning to get away with it because of lack of other critical evidence. That’s why he looks so smug. He believes he’s clever enough to quite literally get away with murder.
I think the same, he left the sheath at the scene, on purpose. It’s such a simple thing to ensure you don’t do, and if he planned this, as meticulously as they say, then why would he make such a simple error…unless it was on purpose.
@@JordanTHEcatladyyeah. RA is not the killer. His “confessions” we brief and not unique. His therapist gave him information. On appeal, her entire testimony should be thrown out.
No, but I think our system is designed by the belief that it is better that ten guilty people be let free than one innocent person be falsely imprisoned. Now it seems that being arrested is proof enough of guilt for that public, and that should terrify everyone.

People have been convicted on far less.
it's all you know what, i.e b.s.
Exactly 2:19
His car had no evidence of the crime and didn't fit the years as identified by the FBI car expert, the one on king road. The year change later was done by a Moscow officer, not a car expert, and lied that the FBI expert changed the years, and lied in court about it despite the defense having the emails between that officer and FBI car expert which show the truth. And that is what is gonna u wind the whole case in the prosecution's face.

I just watched a documentary on Ted Bundy and it’s eerie the way that Kohberger seems to shadow Bundy
Literally not like Bundy in any way
@@MamaPinksnothing even remotely like Bundy.....maybe btk because they both took out 4 people during their first kill....

Replay crew. Here for Chris and justice for these beautiful students.
Think his phone is going to show him at these dozen parties? Are witnesses going to claim to have seen him? That claim needs evidence as well.

Nice weather report
Wasn't the Instagram account proved to be a fake early on in the case?
Yes
Yes, but we're not supposed to talk about how the families tell lies and refuse to be interviewed by investigators.
Sorry I can't be as braindead and biased as the people from that country. The roommates are suspicious.
Imagine believing you know more about who committed 4 murders than the investigators and detectives and district attorneys who were there from the first day and have seen all the evidence. especially when there’s a gag order preventing all the info from coming out.. they have the right guy 100%
Zipping about someone else's residence @ some suspect hour of darkness- then returning later when the sun was up- is not 'star gazing.'
He's deceitful & flippantly mimics some details from BTK.
Will be the trial of the year.
He is guilty af but people love a conspiracy
After he is convicted I hope to never see his creep face again 🙄 no one and I mean NO oNE is gonna miss him.

If he had coveralls on he wouldn't have a belt to put the knife sheath on.
This is what I've been saying since the beginning.
Do you need a belt to carry a knife sheaf in your hand? If he had a belt on, the knife sheaf would have still been on his belt when he left the house.
I still think there's something fishy since the living girls survived and didn't call cops till the next day after all friends showed up and cleaned up and checked the bodies before the police 🙃
Right
You sound like you've read alll the evidence. Which is crazyyyy because it hasn't been presented in court yet. But vibes ammirite. If a survivor reads this, and you're wrong, imagine what a monster that makes you.

No reason for them to be murdered!
Just because they partied all day & night. This was a satanic nut who thought he could commit the perfect murder and live with his SICK SECRET!
Important Note: The trash that matched BK’s father was extracted from the neighbors trash. Therefore, BK and family had their trash deposited in the neighbors trash by BK himself. This BK and his family have no possible cartilage claim against LE!!!
I want to know why Brian K. gets to dress up like a high priced lawyer for every single little court date? I have never seen a defendant dress up just for a simple court date, every time. I could see if it was for the trial, but not this often!
@@martasplace6414 easy. Have a good lawyer representing you and that actually aiming for a not guilty verdict.
I’m an avid watcher of crime investigations but I’m not sure how I’ll bring myself watch this one. Every time I see their faces I break into pieces, maybe because I’m sending off two kids to college soon. My heart breaks for all,of them.
It was confirmed in court that there was no social media following or messages. Why are these rumors still being spread?
because its court TV and they sensationalize everything but I mean isn't one of the fathers who is very outspoken the one who first released such info to the public.
When there is a gag order people will continue to fill in the blanks however, very few fact-check things.

Love Chris McDonough and his channel, "The Interview Room"
I just can't see how he would get it on the snap & no where else. Seems sus. Touch at that. A bit strange.

For those who can't see it, here are the redacted words from document shown first in the video:
1.
"As I entered this bedroom I could see two bodies on the single bed in the room"
2.
"(When viewed from the door. The sheath was later processed and had "Ka-Bar" "USMC" and the United States Marine Corps eagle globe and snake insignia stamped on the out side of it"

what time did the food delivery showed up ?
I’m staying with my original theory.
He thinks he’s so smart and is educated to a fairly high level in all things criminal.
I believe he deliberately left the sheath and the DNA to link himself to the murders but is planning to get away with it because of lack of other critical evidence.
That’s why he looks so smug. He believes he’s clever enough to quite literally get away with murder.
I think the same, he left the sheath at the scene, on purpose. It’s such a simple thing to ensure you don’t do, and if he planned this, as meticulously as they say, then why would he make such a simple error…unless it was on purpose.
