These videos are so comforting. I'm in recovery from a bit of a breakdown (I started having many, many panic attacks, for reasons best known to someone else). Anyway, I'm glad to have a daily glimpse into your life through these vlogs. It reminds me there are still nice things, and theatre will live on when this is over.

The food shopping part is so true! One time, we ordered Shreddies... and they substituted cherries...? And kiwis.... they were substituted for SHOE POLISH!!!!!!!! 🧐🤣🤨

Oh my goodness, that just reminded me so much of my childhood! I'm from Germany, so we opened presents on Christmas Eve and the 25th and 26th were always the days I got to play with all the things I got! I totally forgot about that!! 💖

what you said about all the stuff in boxes you haven't seen in over a year reminded me. I got evicted from my uni house (long story but it wasn't anything I did wrong 😂 ) just before Christmas a couple years ago, and luckily was able to move back home, but didn't have space for all my stuff from my uni house so it's stayed in boxes in the loft. a lot of it is kitchen stuff which I obviously don't need at home, but there's an entire box of nice aesthetic stuff and art and gifts from friends that I just don't have space to display at home and I opened it the other day while looking for something I needed to decorate some presents I was wrapping and found so many lovely things I forgot I had
I'm going to work on moving some bits around in my room at home so I can try to get at least a few little bits out from that box soon, I miss not having my nice things around
On one of the vlogmas days, you should show how your hairstyle for les mis is done! It's been so cute on you! I'd love to try it myself!

Please don't worry to much about making the vlogs interesting. What I appreciated most about the vlogs lately is just seeing your pure emotions, the happy and the sad. It makes it so relatable and reminds me of how in this weird time there are still some ups to be found between the downs. So please just keep on sharing what you feel like, nothing fancy or extreme is needed.

Honestly, I’d love a “Carrie’s Cozy Things” vlog. Tell us how you unwind! How do you keep a schedule when you’re so busy? How do you take care of yourself at home?

The konmari method always helps me with the getting rid of things. IIt’s always such a hard process to go through but in the end it’ll help you appreciate what you love the most! I recommend it for a way to sort through the things in your office!

I can’t tell you how much my mood depends on seeing your gorgeousness in a Vlog every day. I’m going thru a divorce, while still living in the same house with my wife of 20 plus years. It is difficult and sad. And seeing you during this holiday is making it so much less bleak. You’re truly amazing. And I can’t wait for when you’re back on stage in Cinderella !!! I hope I’ll have the funds to come see it in the West End. Instead of waiting for the US tour with whomever they cast in your role. I think you’re this generations greatest actress. No pressure though. If you can’t Vlog some days I completely get it. This is a strange time. Anyways , I just adore you and your Vlog. It always makes me happy.

It's funny because for me boxing day has always been the day that I see my family. Christmas day is just me, my sister, mum and dad and then boxing day is the day we see everyone else and play games and have fun lol. xx
As someone from another country (Canada), It would be cool to see a video where you talk about some of the Christmas traditions you used to do as a family when you were growing up! I'm always curious about how people around the world celebrate :)

Boxing Day is my favourite just because it's so much more relaxed, and it's also the last day of the year where I can watch The Muppets Christmas Carol (as per my family tradition) so it's always so warm and cosy
In Brazil most of the celebrations happen on Christmas Eve, we have the feast at night (some families wait until midnight to start eating) and exchange gifts at midnight and we'd stay up late and watch fireworks. So the actual Christmas day is a hangover and leftovers kind of day. So I get having the festive excitement placed in a different day.

As someone who also works in theatre I completely understand what you were saying about being home for Christmas and new years. I’m also trying to stay positive, so I’m doing Christmas big (but small, as in not many people of course!!) this year 😊 And even though I won’t go or have any party on New Years. I will still take my sweet time to make myself pretty and get ready, because I know that rush out of the theatre far too well (last quick change of the night haha).
I appreciate your videos especially now as we lock down and have too much stress in the news (I’m in America). I look forward to each day. Thank you!
Also RE shelves; might be worth having a look on Facebook market place or gum tree or something and see if there's some old shelves/storage things for your office so at least you can have some temporary Zen even if it's going to be replaced by some gorgeous shelves later. (Seriously the shelves in your living room look STUNNING omg)

Working on Boxing Day sucks, I don't mind Christmas Eve because everyones excited for Christmas and there's usually a nice vibe, but Boxing Day is just like "Christmas is over!"
I haven't worked properly since March, lost my job fully in August, got a Christmas temp job and I've ended up working my birthday, Boxing Day, New Years Eve and New Years Day 😂

I got lucky this year where I don't work Thursdays and Saturdays (I do Sundays so have Thursday off instead) and my work closes on Christmas and New Years day (the only days it does close) and both of those are on a Friday so I get the three days off for both of them this year and I'm so excited for it

I know exactly what you mean with shops substituting things a couple of years back I got an Xmas food shop delivered well my dad did and he ordered cauliflower and on the day he got a text to say it was out of stock and would be replaced with another item and guess what that item was .......... A toilet brush. Let's just let that sink in. We laughed so much about it

I was an arts and crafts child, I'm now an arts and crafts adult and I always hope for at least one craft kit at Christmas. Some people think it's a bit childish but I love moments like making decorations with my mum cos it's just wholesome old fashioned fun that doesn't need technology, it just needs a brain.

It sucks having to work over Christmas. Working in retail I only get Christmas day off. Don't understand the mind set off shopping on Christmas Eve and boxing day did you not do enough shopping in the run up haha

Shelf tour!!
On my last supermarket order I ordered a whole regular watermelon, I even sent a message stating that, and I got a SLICE of a BABY watermelon. The smallest silliest shabbiest slice of watermelon. I wanted to have fruit enough to have juice for a week and got enough fruit for half a cup.
If you need ideas for videos maybe you could go through your good morning/evening emails and do some of those! ❤️

It is the day after Christmas. There are a few different stories on how the name came about. The one I was told at school is that the day after Christmas was a day where people would give money to charities in donation boxes through churches and other collection points, thus boxing day
