    towards the end of the heels-off-the-ground squats my legs were literally shaking soooooo bad I fell over it was exactly like Ariel standing up out of the sea omg

    lol I hate it when she starts counting down, and then decides to say something else to make it longer, and I'm like, "JUST GET TO THE NEXT NUMBER ALREADY! My legs are killing me lol" Love her workouts XD

    1:35 what are we supposed to feel during this move? i feel my other thigh aching instead of the leg which is moving up and down!

    I want my thighs to become slimmer but not really muscular. Just delicately toned. Would this exercise make my thighs bulgy/muscular looking?

    Thanks I loved this workout! I read the comments below before I started the workout so the whole time I was telling myself to clench the butt, hold the stomach, breath. I keep falling over to but kept the chair near by for that reason. My butt and legs and obliques hurt now. Love it!!

    I can't balance on one leg, so I still used the chair. I still really felt the effects of exercises though :)

    I did this one a few minutes ago and my legs are killing me. I could literally SEE the muscles moving while working out the opposite leg. So even when all I was doing was standing on the left leg I could see the muscles being worked out in it by moving the right leg. I may regret doing 5 of your workouts later tonight!

Not perfect though, but it just makes me want to do these more and more! You are a great trainer and your body is amazing!     Day 10. Ug! I'm really tired from a long day at work and did NOT want to do this. Buuuttt, my wonderful husband cheered me on and here I am! Wow my legs and booty were on fire!!! :) Good job everyone! Keep up the good work, and don't forget to keep going even when you don't want to!! :)

    i think that is only when you do tons of strength workouts but dont do any cardio AND it depends on your body shape too! because if you look at Cassey, she has pretty strong thighs yet still manages to have a thigh gap.

    i love the stretch at the end, i do it all the time (i just made it up) but now i know it's an actual yoga pose :) it's great for training your body to do the splits!!

    lunges will help you slim down as well as cardio, but it also depends on your diet, no point of trying to slim down if your not eating healthy. and yes you can achieve a thigh gap. it worked for me

    It DOES matter, depending on the person, of curse. In my case, I already have crazy strong thighs and I'd love to have a thigh gap because, trust me, since I live in a ridiculously hot place it's impossible for me to use shorts without struggling with them because I take 5 steps and they are already all the way up -_-' (Annoying, yes). PLUS, If the person is very small, maybe having very strong legs won't be very flattering (since she/he'll look smaller).

    You can't spot reduct (Cassey's words) So when you loose you loose everywhere. unless its plainly your body type (bigger bones) then if you eat right and exercise you'll slim down.

    great workout, going to do this for my next lower body segment. Im hiding on Halloween, my husband and I always go see a movie and have some food, anything to get us out the house. Halloween not big in the UK, at least where I live and its just teenagers coming round begging for money, they dont even want sweets, ruined it. Was fun when I was a kid.

    I have the same prob too :( btw big calves only look hot on football players..did a bit of research and jumping, skipping or any kid of resistance training will make them bigger. Long distance running and stretching to elongate the calves. if you noticed long distance runners always have small calves, sprinters have big calves. So try running on the treadmill with very little resistance at a slow speed for a long distance.Hope this helps. *hugs* You can do it!!

    day 10 of the beginners calendar but cassey! i cant do the legs or any cardio properly :( i have ehler danlos hypermobility type and its especially bad in my hips (i have to use a walking aid when i leave the house) so i cant lift them like that or they'll dislocate... for the cardio the illness comes w chronic fatigue and i have asthma - so do you have any advice or replacement videos i could do?

    I actually did the third move holding the top of the chair and lifting my leg as high as I could and it worked out pretty well (by that I mean it still hurt! lol) Day 13 done! (one day late..and missing day 12 o.0)

    Wow that was really fun! Casey i have to questions. The first one is when i do the move where you extend your leg out and pulse and bend your knee i used my chair to keep me balanced. is that cheating? And my second question is can you make a video for your triceps without have to support my own body weight? Please respond and thanks again!

    Cassie, what are the keys things that I need to lookout for in doing back exercises? Is it normal for me to have sore lower back muscles after a back workout? What is normala nd not normal in a back workout? Do advice..Your the best!!

    My normal workout pants are becoming too big for me so I couldn't wear them for these exercises (they kept getting in the way!!!). Time to go shopping!!! :D

    i wonder if I'll ever have a thigh gap.. :/ i have short legs... and i am pretty short myself.... I was 157cm the last time i checked my height 3 months ago..... and i am 15. i don't remember ever having a thigh gap...... I'm kinda chubby.. even if i lose weight, i wonder if I'll ever have a thigh gap.... I'm currently about 54kg... but of course, I've seen great progress ever since blogiltaes! my thighs got toned! but i still doubt if I'll ever achieve thigh gap... -.-'

    hey cassey m 4rm INDIA n i recently checked out ur vids n they r awesome!!!! plz keep posting exercises 4 legs n butt.1 ques do they build muscles or give a leaner look 2 ur legs / butt.my problem areas r esp..... inner,outer thighs and also saddlebags...(terrible)....hey ,do these workouts r burn like d top part of ur thighs(u know d 1 that appears 2 b protruding when u look 4rm sideways)

    Hi Cassey! Well, I have a question.. I have big calves (which I really don't like :/) and I wanted to know if you have any advice to slim calves. Cause also, as I've been exercising for the last months, they seem to be getting a bit bigger and I all I really wanted was to exercise my thighs and burn all of their fat, but not my calves, I just wanted slim calves...     I couldn't keep my balance on the leg lifts & pulses but only while balancing on the left leg. Any suggestions?
