A little bit of time and some elbow grease. It looks beautiful and sooo rewarding. Good job. You should put everything together in a project at home book. Thank you for taking the time to share what you know.
Never seen anyone use fiberglass but that repair looks pretty good. I used PC7 epoxy on my 56 Ford steering wheel. Looked great when finished. The only problem I have after several years of weekly use is that new cracks are forming on the Bakelite. I do not believe any company makes a repop steering wheel for 55-57 Fords.
The only '65 steering wheels I can find are cracked examples on eBay, so this video is perfect for what I need. Some Japanese repairs use a gold bonding compound, do you reckon a silver epoxy/filler would look good? Or tacky?
Well done.

I guess it depends on what color the wheel is, but if you are going to repaint the wheel then it doesn't matter.
