1st time watching this court show on 23rd of February 2023, I saw a case of a lady that helped her husband to get an employment, the lady had 2kiids, the husband left them. The lady couldn't pay for her house rent anymore, the kind landlord brought her to the court that she owed him 2yrs house rent and I love What I watched on Facebook then came to search on TH-cam. I have watched about 10 series almost 5am , well done to the judge Funni, she is sooo good. You have a fan today.
Most Landlords/Landladies are brutal. I mean, utterly wicked.
How can you repay him in 3 instalments for a little 100k plus?
When you have collected rent from the new tenant who has occupied the same house.
Do you Landlords/Landladies accept such instalment payment for rents ?
They are very wicked, they will want a situation where you will useless the money. The landlords will not accept monthly payment or installment
They are *"LANDLORDS "* , Lords of the land, they have no consideration or sympathy.

He did say in this case that they are still busy with renovations. Also, it's the tenant that broke the lease, wanting to leave before the lease period agreed to. The landlord could have refused to accommodate him but did not.

But why split the money when a new Tennant has paid and is occupying the apartment. Just take from the new Tennant and pay him all his money. He didn't give u d money by installments, so why give him back in installments.
The landlord is using the money for renovations, hence the installment.
He must have finished his money before, but human expenses no dey finish far...to refund is not always easy. It's even good that he has been paying back in instalments.

The Bal to be refunded should have included the agent, commission and caution fee because the apartment was not ready before he moved out
I think so as well, because he never use the apartment that he paid Agency fee and caution fees for.
The Ekene guy didn't push well. How can they take a whole N100k for an apartment he didn't live in, meanwhile they collected the same amount from d person that later rented d it..
Even paying in instalment was wrong cos the apartment has been rented why didn't they hand over the amount to him when d new tenant rented d apartment
The landlord already took out 50k from the money the tenant was to pay Meanwhile you cannot refund the agreement. It is nonrefundable because it is assumed that a lawyer has done some work and was paid.
