- The 2025 BMW X5 is here, bringing new paint jobs such as the frozen pure gray option featured in this video. The X5 is probably one of the best values for luxury SUV’s on the market now ot just because I sell them but I really think BMW provides a nice reliable product and is a great SUV to drive, 375 horse power, 25mpg and good tech leaves you not wanting for much else. Hey Caleb. Great review video. Couple of questions 1) is the start stop still annoying ? since there is no way to turn it off, and no way to code it. 2) You said you wouldn't pick this over x50e. Any reason why ? P.S : The audio is all over the place in your TH-cam video, so you might want to fix that.
Thank you for the heads up I’ll try to adjust the audio in the yt editor. Start stop is pretty much unnoticeable most times. I prefer the 50e as you can have an ev without having an ev due to the larger range, it also has 100 more hp and air suspension for $4000. Imo well worth it
@@CarJuiceYT but you cant get the big rims or the sport suspension...... unless I'm not seeing something. I have a M440Xi and want to get an X5 .
Sound quality went down when you got inside the vehicle. I could barely hear you.
I also love the 50e as well. My only concern is its reliability score compared to the 40i. Seems to be troublesome for many users yet.
I took delivery of a 2025 50e on Friday. So far so good.
Congratulations on your new purchase. There are high hopes for the 2025 model to be as trouble free as the 45e was.
It will be, everytime we come out with a new model it’s glitchy for the first 6-12 mo then they sort out the bugs :)
Nice review. How does the ride compare to the x4 m40i you recently reviewed?
God this comment made my day :). So it is substantially smoother than an X4 m40 less dynamic in terms of handling and generally feels close to as quick.

@@fishermansmobileweighstati3645 love it dude, X5 is awesome, I’d recommend the X5 50e very highly even over the 40i, I have a video on my channel here as well about a year ago on it. But 4k more and you get air suspension and another 100hp + mpg
Is there a reason that now BMW USA doesn’t provide FULL adaptive LED lights in the US with all the new LCI models? Another thing that BMW eliminated for the US. There is no swiveling function (curve adapt). This means, when you turn your steering wheel to the left or right, the lights don’t turn to the bend. You would think each year it should get better and not worse. Why did they remove the BMW “M” clip from the rear calipers? No rear door comfort access? No rear door puddle lights? Seriously?
What was BMW's reasoning for taking away the ability to lock/unlock the vehicle from the rear door handles?? 🧐
I guess they thought nobody used it 😂 However, the car can automatically unlock when approaching with the new comfort access. So there is no real need to have it activate through the door handles. The car can also automatically lock when walking away.
Comfort access has almost always functioned that way. But reasoning is very well stated. BMW tests what features and buttons people use vs dont use and recognized most times people just use the front 2 handles so they figured they could save some $ and not add it to the rear. Disappointing and unfortunate reality of the industry
@@CarJuiceYT Seems BMW ignored that approach when they decided to remove the physical controls for the a/c, i.e. buttons people use.

Too bad the seats have the old grandpa style quilted design. I that quilted look in these expensive vehicles has got to go, especially on one that leans to a sporty design
I like the quilted look it minimizes pressure points 🫣
