    And there are still real *idiots* who say he's overrated. Zidane is without a shadow of a doubt the greatest definition of a maestro in football history! Immeasurable talent, extraordinary intelligence, spectacular technique, immense ability to improvise and great potential to decide big games and big championships. His unreal ability and technique to control the game at the pace he wanted is something out of this world! Magician, absolute genius!

      @gourmondal5812 yes he can
      And maradona is the definition of overrated
      He only won the world cup which was undeserved and won a seria and those were the biggest things in his career
      And in footballing ability he doesnt compare cause he isnt close
      He is only better than zidane in dribbling and pace
      Nothing more nothing less
      I would put somebody like cruyff above him
      Cause cruyff should have had 1-2 world cups by now and won 3 ballon dors and also had better indivdiual quality
      They say maradona was a great playmaker yet his passes are worst than ronaldo's passes at saudi

      Well said, totally agree. i have never seen anyone have such an effect that Zidane had. Nobody else has been able to control the game like he did, everyone else around him got better. He most certainly can be mentioned alongside Pele and Maradona.

    France 1998-2000 had one of the best teams ever , tremendous talents with unique skills, excellent pace , and one of the greatest meastros called Zizou

    • @jdjdj1623
      @jdjdj1623 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      It had alot of great players but as an overall team wasnt good
      Zidane carried them
      2000 euros he was player of the tournament and clutched up against england to qualify
      Scoring a free kick in 90+
      And a pen in extra time
      And in the 1998 world cup france wasnt good zidane was averaging like 3 createdt chances per game (there is no official stat this is an exaggeration but it might be true ) he created 7 chances against brazil in the final and scored 2 goals
      And then in the 2002 world cup when zidane got injured they couldnt get past the group stage
      Suddenly next world cup
      A retiring zidane carrid them to the final
      He scored against spain and made a couple of chances
      Then against brazil he made 2 1 on 1 chances and a chance which was greatly delivered by henry from the set piece
      And scored against portugal
      And opened the score sheet in the final with the best ever penalty against the goat keeper
      And was named player of the tournament
      So in 2000 euros
      Zidane had 6 g/a
      In 2006 world cup he had 8 g/a
      And in 1998 world cup he had 6 g/a
      And remember zidane played in a 2 by 2 midfield
      And by the way mot of them are knockouts
      Like in the euros his only 2 goals were knockout along with four assists
      And god knows how many chances created

      @Realmadridone1 you didn't watch it
      Go type
      Zidane vs england euros
      And my point is
      That zidane was reason france won trophies
      It is like barca 2011 but without xavi and iniest and messi
      But the difference is that barca dependend on 3 players while france depended on one player
      They won the 1998 world cup against brazil
      Zidane was their best player with 6 g/a
      Suddenly in 2002 when zidane was injued they couldnt go past group stages
      Then 2006 comes up
      A retiring zidane played and got them to the final
      Won the player of the tournament
      Scored france's only goal in the final
      And had 8 g/a
      And won them almost every game creating 5+ chances
      And in 2000 euros he also won player of the tournament with 6 g/a
      He is their history
      And lets not forget
      Zidane did all of this in the hardest era of football

      Second - I did saw Euro 2000,
      and 3td - the comment you're replying to is about France in 98-2000, not 2004 or 2006.

    Hormis la défense jusqu'au milieux récupérateurs, il était entouré de manches à balais. Henry, on le constate encore une fois, n'a jamais été à la hauteur quand il jouait avec Zidane. Il n'a marqué qu'une seule fois dans sa carrière en équipe de France sur une passe décisive de Zidane, c'est en 2006 contre le Brésil. Sinon, il a toujours tout raté. Anelka ou Trézéguet étaient bien meilleurs quand ils jouaient avec lui. Anelka n'a pas eu la carrière qu'il aurait mérité mais s'il avait continué à un niveau élevé, la paire Zidane-Anelka aurait fait des ravages.

    Most of those "dribbles" aren't dribbles at all. He just keeps the ball in his possession for exaple and goes towards his own goal (backwards) and you count that as a dribble lol.
    What I take as a dribble is when someone beats an opponent 1 on 1 and goes past him, I may be wrong 🤔
    Counting this as dribbles you could say Xavi, Iniesta or Messi had like 50 dribbles in some games by just keeping the ball in their feet when they had an opponent on them.

    • @Realmadridone1
      @Realmadridone1 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      I stand by my point though. Most of these dribbles aren't dribbles.
      When you just collect the ball and send someone the wrong direction but he's still in front of you and you didn't go past him it's not a dribble imo. Almost like saying when someone hits a post it's a goal.
      He had like 5 dribbles here at most. If you count all of these as dribbles then there are surely players who had more than 20 very often.
