I'll never understand how Leta Powell Drake, a charismatic, irresistible, intelligent and hilarious interviewer never became nationally-famous. She reminds me of Joan Rivers because she was so direct and forthcoming but was never mean-spirited. On the contrary, she respected her guests and was always prepared to discuss their work and lives. RIP, legendary LPD!
