Loved the food tour , we’ve never done tours in countries we’ve visited as I’m not a big fan of being with loads of other people and like to find things ourselves . Having said that your guide clearly made this food tour as he came across knowledgeable but also a good laugh and the other chap on your tour also seemed a nice person . Keep up the great work and what a start on your journey . Safe travels 👍

We were a little worried to try a food tour as well just due to pricing etc but we’re really happy we went on this one, and it seemed much simpiler then going alone!!! Thanks for watching as always

Hey guys thumbs up for the videos !What would you recommend visiting Casablanca Tangier or Marrakesh? We’re planing visiting Morocco soon and we’d pick one of these cities …are they money wise roughy the same or?We are family of three

    • @ConnorandLivvy
      @ConnorandLivvy  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

We didn’t visit Casablanca and did Rabat instead but we have heard that Casablanca is more expensive than the other cities.
We would personally recommend Marrakech (however not everyone would agree!) it’s crazy and busy but there’s lots more to do than Tangier as it’s essentially the tourist capital in Morocco!
Tangier is more relaxed, quieter with a Mediterranean feel & has lots of beaches.
We stayed 4 nights in Marrakech & two in Tangier :)
I feel that prices are somewhat similar in both cities, it might be a little cheaper in Marrakech just because of more variety in places to eat & accomodation!
Totally biased here but Essaouira & Chefchaouen are awesome places to consider to.

    • @josephernesto1105
      @josephernesto1105 ปีที่แล้ว

@@anissbenthami Hello sir I hope everything is alright 🙏 : the information in my first comment comes from a long work of researches about the Moroccan dialects/language+influences on the Moroccan spoken language since centuries.....
1- When you speak Moroccan you can't consider it as Arabic or totally Arabic ...
2- Arabic is a language of school 🏫🎒 books 📚 you can't hear people speak Arabic in Moroccan streets , actually that's
      " Darija " a combination of Words from Amazingh (Berber ) + Arabic + Subsaharian (Gnawa ) [Salabati] + French + Spanish + português... Others ...
"Try to speak Arabic with random people in Morocco 🇲🇦 they Will not understand you ....
➕A foreign couple came to Marrakech they entered a restaurant and tried to use Google tradutor to order something they translated the English sentence into Arabic ... When the waiter came to serve them , they made him hear the order from Google tradutor.
      The man didn't understand Arabic
They had a confusing moment there .... Because they've been told That Moroccans 🇲🇦 speak Arabic ... But actually Moroccans speaks Darija or Moroccan...✓
      3 - The words like :
      [ sarout = Key 🗝️] Berber Word
      [ Miftah ] = Key 🗝️] Arabic Word
      Moroccans 🇲🇦 :
      Say : Bring me ( Miftah ) ❎
      Say : Bring me ( sarout ) ☑️
      [ Mouka = Owl 🦉] Beber Word
      [ Bouma ] = Owl 🦉 ] Arabic Word
Moroccans Call It ( Mouka ) not ( Bouma ).
      [ Bus 🚌 = Tobis ] from the French🇨🇵 word " Autobus "
      [ Bus 🚌 = Hafila ] Arabic Word
      Moroccans 🇲🇦
      Say : let's take ( Hafila 🚌 )❎
      Say : let's take ( Tobis 🚌 )☑️
      [ Party 🎉 = Hafla ] Arabic Word
      [Party 🎉 = Fejta ] From the Portuguese 🇵🇹 word ( Festa 🎉 )
      [ Tractor 🚜 = jarar zirayi ] Arabic
      [ Tractor 🚜 = Tractoor ] from the French 🇨🇵 word ( Tracteur🚜 )
      Moroccans 🇲🇦
      Say : Drive ( jarar zirayi 🚜)❎
      Say : Drive (Tractoor🚜)☑️

Its weird that no body told u harissa is 100% tunisian sauce.. we didnt even know they use it in morocco cuz they dont eat spicy
I see they r trying to copy us 😂 copy the colors of our buildings blue and white 😆 they r trying to be more touristic since 10 or 15 years with stealing copying everythg while tunisia was touristic since always ^^
The problem is they think everythg is moroccan 🤣
