The only thing I don't like is that they took away his eye patch. I like that they made him look a bit older. All the models looking pretty much the exact same gets boring. * _shrug_ *
Lor’themar’s voice is one of my favorites in the game. Belf was my first character back in bc so I’ll always have love for that starting zone.

I just did this quest and I liked it. Apart from the extra corpse run to the other end of the Isle of Quel'danas, it was fun. It reminded me of what it truly means to be a Sin'dorei. I only pray the Horde too remembers its true purpose. I gave the heritage armor to my blood elf mage. He has Felo'melorn, so the armor will be a perfect fit.
I'll be doing it on my priest. I agree that Felo matches perfectly with the outfit but I really want my mage to be a Nightborne, and the Alliance priests in WC3 were high elves so it's still fitting imo
@@KazumiKiguma I did this on my main, which is a paladin, but I gave the set to my mage, because I want to keep current transmog. I boosted my mage in Legion for Felo'melorn, but I also made my Nightborne a mage. I chose arcane for this mage.
I'm planning to make a hunter to get that set. Which weapon(range or polearm) you think would fit it?

I love how Lor'themar has been getting more character development over the last few years. I hope he is handled better than Garrosh or Sylvanas. Please Blizzard don't ruin all the good characters with bad writing.

Absolutely agree that Sylvanas' Warbringers cinematic sucked, don't even get me started on how bad the elven eyes look in it either.
I loved this questline and it's probably the best thing to bring up every time anyone says Belfs are just a "pretty haughty joke race that don't belong in the Horde lol". Their lore and racial identity is so much better than people give it credit for. I'm proud to play a Sin'dorei but I wish I could say I was proud of our ex-Ranger General. She embodies almost nothing that the Blood Elves stand for because she was never one, just a High Elf then an Undead. There are big cultural differences between the 3 races. She has no respect left for those that fell at Silvermoon but only for her own hide.
Freeasacar the sin’dorei, culturally, are an evolution of the quel’dorei. And there are similarities between the Forsaken and the sin’dorei, as they both rebuilt from scratch. As for respect, one could argue she developed into caring more about the Forsaken, considering her short story, when she called them “more than arrows in her quiver”. You do bring up some very interesting ideeas tho, nice ^^
Their army was fake, the army was obviously acolytes.
But seriously, what on earth happened to their eyes? Last I checked and they were supposed to be in a damned forest. And Sylvanas was cornered not sliding in a slip and slide.
Hunter Killer I’m not sure if you are talking about the Blood Eleves’ eyes, but if you are, their eyes are green because they came into touch with Guldan in their greed for magic after they were forbidden from using it as the Nightbourne. The fel turned their eyes green.

Why would Sylvanas' last words include "Sin'dorei"? Didn't they only start calling themselves Blood Elves after the attack, in honor of the lives lost?
It's why they said it was, "the poetic recitation". They could embellish the tale a little.
That *would* explain the power slide...
It directly translates to "children of the blood". Perhaps this might explain why Kael'thas chose the name Blood Elves. I smell a retcon!
Shame the quest bugged out twice for you - but it was just Arthas and Anasterian hitting each other, then yes he pretty much just falls over and dies lol
Anasterian just kept hitting Arthas after he was supposed to fall over and die when I did it yesterday. On the Live servers.

I stood beside the Dark Lady because I am Blood Elf who remembers the Ranger General. Unlike the scummy "High Elves" that didn't rejoin their people my character rejoined her people after Arthus. The so called High Elves abandoned their people and deserve naught but derision. The true High Elves are the Blood Elves, those that haven't changed their name are traitors to their people, they're just long eared humans. Sylvanas Windrunner took longer to abandon the Horde than her sisters took to abandon their own people.
I also refuse to use the term "Void Elf", the correct term is "Reject Elf".
I love the way the Pony tail bounces around when they are riding through ghostlands.

To be honest, I'm just happy they actually have something happening in Silvermoon again... Place hasn't been touched by events since the BC expansion, heck it's still blocked off from all the other content still. The Exodar is almost as bad but it's had more stuff happen there in recent expansions at least
Just a note, that's not the original voice actor from Warcraft III (Justin Gross), but his replacement from World of Warcraft (Patrick Seitz). Seitz did an AMAZING job with this recreation.

Looks like Lor'themar actually loathes and respects Sylvanas for what she is as a forsaken and what she was as a high elf. Hopefully we will see more development of his point of view regarding BFA, although we already knew that he also despises Anduin in the Nightborne Allied Race questline... he's totally fine to discuss with Varian about rejoining the Alliance in MOP thanks to Garrosh, but completely shut off Anduin's offering and even revoke Alleria for siding with the Alliance. Lor'themar might actually be a Sylvanas's fanboy, and has no problem seeing her scheming whatever necessary to destroy the Alliance.
Lor'themar respects Sylvanas for the sacrifice she made for Quel'thalas, and the aid she offered during the Burning Crusade, but he doesn't always agree with her methods. Lor'themar may despise Anduin and the Alliance, but I can't imagine him being on board with the burning of Teldrassil. I don't even think he wishes to destroy the Alliance, as long as they stay out of Quel'thalas. I may be wrong, but I just hate the thought of my people going down the same path as the Scourge. It makes me wish for playable Alliance high elves.

Did you forget about the purge of dalaran in mop? There is alot of bad blood between the blood elves and the alliance. Its why Lor'themar shut out any talks with them. It would have been really interesting to see the blood elves join the alliance though.

Lor'Themar gets a new model but not a new title. He will be the Regent Lord for the rest of his life.
I get that he doesn't want anything to do with the royalty aspect and will never call himself King, but I think he deserves better than "the fill-in".

They dodged a bullet by saying “poetic retelling”, because Kael’thas remaned the high elves into blood elves after Silvermoon was destroyed. As such, she couldn’t have cried out “sin’dorei”, they weren’t renamed yet. (Talking about the bit around 11:15)
Edit: in the song “Lament of the Highborn”, she also calls them “sin’dorei”. This explain a former contradiction in the lore, as to why she would: the song isn’t accurate, but poetic.

Poetic retelling is lightly putting it. Heavily embellishing how the Bitch Queen spent her last moments, not lamenting the dead but raving revenge against Arthas, not for her people, but her own ruination. But hey they're trying to describe her as MORALLY GREY.

Multi-million dollar company, having the resources the ask its playerbase what they want, seeing as the original game developers no longer have a say in the matter, opt not to and give sarcastic responses that are just, painfully detached from reality. Really now. It's literally all being lead by Activision, the people who bought them a good while ago. This is a joke, aimed at the fact that, Blizzard has a badly written character that has been a bitch since her very birth, 'till the current lore moment. I get what you're saying, yes people take it too far in many aspects, but this is a joke on the back of a company that said repeatedly that the playerbase doesn't know what they want, only to be slapped onto it's ass by the market itself.
On a final note, you putting out the fact that you've been around since TBC doesn't really justify your over-zealous defense of this company, from their recent blunders, which resulted in this joke. I've been around since WoW beta but it doesn't change what I'm saying, does it. The developers were gamers, the owners are company men, they don't know what they players want because they aren't players, they can't differentiate a good story from a shitty copy pasted one, because they don't care about a good story. If it doesn't make money, Activision doesn't give a shit and by proxy neither can Blizzard.

Honestly for me it was completely fine. I think it bugged out cause the phasing got messed up. It should go entry with both of them talking, you go a bit behind killing the undead and when you return they fight and it ends.

The accual reason he took off his eye patch is because while brushing his teeth and befor le he put his eyepatch on, his dead eye fell out and into the little water drain so now that his dead eye was gone, he no longer had a need for his eyepatch.

It was only after Arthas' attack did Kael'thas declare they be called Sin'dorei in honor of those lost in the battle, right? I mean the same thing applies to the song Sylvanas could sing when you gave her that necklace, how could that be a song from her past if the Sin'dorei only came into existence after she was turned into a banshee?
She didn't actually say that. As they say in the very same sentence, it's the "poetic" version of her death. Her actual last words are "No you wouldn't dare"

Those pauses have been there since classic. That's how the game has always been. Please, if you are going to attack Blizzard make, at least try to make sense.
It actually because the game has been translated into so many languages. When a dialogue cue plays, it has to wait until the longest language version of that dialogue finishes before it triggers the next cue.

The Current Voice Actor for Arthas, Patrick Seitz, who also voiced Garrosh, is not the one who voiced him in WC3.
