- The Tesla's "AtlasBX" battery cost $165.00 plus labor $95.50, total amount paid with the tax $279.89. I used my Tesla Mobile application to reach out the Tesla service department on the road and ordered 12V battery replacement at my home after I got the warning message required me to replace the battery ASAP. Also, you can buy this battery at Tesla service department or any similar battery and DIY. View this video to see how easily it was done by Tesla's technician and replace it by your own.

Actually there is! Tesla now sells lithium 12v batteries and they’re much more durable and lighter!
@@andream.464 I think the owner was asking about over the air software update lol, but yea lithium battery is much nicer!! Lead acid is old tech! Same life range as all other 12v lead a id batteries, and just as heavy lol

My god....get a milwaukee ratchet for the lower 2 bolts.
This would drive me crazy going that slow
But I guess to each their own
Edit: you can actually use the exact extension you are using at an angle for the lower 2 bolts. No need to remove the entire battery tray either....just the 13mm bolts and tilt it forward.
