- Hello all, I don't really have much to say in here tbh as it's all said in the video. All I will say is please don't play guessing games in the comments about my personal life, it really won't be very helpful. I hope you don't mind me posting a video like this, I just wanted to keep you all in the loop.

I love this comment. My best friend will say, I shouldn’t complain about hurting or feeling bad, you go through this everyday, and it drives me bc my pain doesn’t negate anyone else’s.
A pony party would likely cheer everyone up. Playing clips of your grand old boy throughout your years together would be lovely. Perhaps, if he can have it, you could also make him a carrot-based bran type of cake or horse biscuit and have everyone wear party hats.
My 20s were the worst. Especially my early 20s, and many of my friends agree. It feels like you have to be a grown up, but you aren't really there, nothing seems to go right, and things you thought would be with you for life seem to crumble.
It's ok. It's all part of growing up and maturing, and one day you'll look back on everything and you'll feel at peace with it. Until then take time to be sad and mad and anything else that you need to feel.

Take care of you first. I'm sorry you're having a hard time right now. Just because 'what you're going through isn't as bad as someone else' dont let that take away from yourself. You're going through something that's hard for you, dont need to justify it, dont need to make sure anyone else is okay. Have a great day and feel better lady.
I just wanted to say take as long as you need to focus on yourself, obviously we will all miss you, but we would rather you be happy in yourself before you start trying to entertain us. No problem is too small to make you upset and trying to carry on without changing your activity or mood is close to impossible, I just wanted to say that we understand that your struggling, and that's ok❤I'm sure everyone will agree with me that we all just want the best for you. we are all here for love and support xx

Feel so sad about you selling Bear but she would make a brilliant dressage pony. I'd love to see a video of your dressage training with her. Maybe do a challenge video by attempting your best passage, piaffe, pirouette etc.
Dee- finally some mareish faces amongst all your lovely non mareish mares! Poor girl, I'm an Equine Vet Nurse and I think you did exactly the right thing with her. At the end of the day, you know her best and you'll know when she's ready to come back in to work.
You're babies are SO cute, you should be very proud to have such lovely youngsters, so excited to see you produce them as well as you;ve done your others.

There is one thing I want you to know: you're literally the only one I can watch 1 hour Vlogs of and I always feel so motivated and happy afterwards. As Churchill said "When you're going through Hell, keep going." ... I'm glad for the update, and I DEFINITELY want to see a pony party. This whole situation has just been the pits, and we're all right there with you. But, to cheer you up, I finally hit the subscribe button. It's not much, but I want you to know that I enjoy your content immensely, and I hope things start to improve for you soon.
I'm not a horse but I got a PRP injection in my ankle when I tore/stretched some stuff and it was a miracle! It worked super well

It's very easy to compare your own issues to others, I would know! I also know how hard it is to not do that, I still do it now. Just know that what you're feeling is valid, it's okay to be upset about something bad, and it doesn't matter how different everyone else's bad things are because they're not yours. Pain is relative, and that includes what goes on in your noggin, and if anyone says otherwise tell them to eff right off. You have the right to feel upset about whatever is going on because if that upsets you then that upsets you, and that's the end of it

Lots of hugs from germany, you are lucky, but life with horses is challenging Dee will be ok I am sure of it. You will also be ok horses are the best therapy for the none horsey challenges in life. No matter what life throws at me my horses always bring me through it. Is it them ? or the fact that they take up most of my waking hours so no time to get upset and down. You have inspired me tocarry on and given me hope with my young horses. I am nearly 60 but I appreciate your vlog. Thanks for posting I was getting worried about you. Hugs Liz. PS I ordered the equilibrium massage pad and it arrived yesterday, I did this on your reccomendation as my horses have short backs and have problems are they have just be broken in. thanks for the helpful tips.

I have to 100% agree with the previous comment about your early 20's being an absolute rollercoaster. I've had some of the best and worst days/months of my life but the older I get the more I feel like my past experiences have built me up to be able to handle it. Everything happens for a reason, the lowest of lows just mean there are big highs around the corner. And again, to mimick another comment, your issues are yours. Don't ever compare them to anyone else's. If something is making you sad it doesn't matter what it is, it's relevant to you. Hope you feel better soon ❤️
So glad you feel you can show us the reality of your life instead of people thinking everything is ok and it is good you felt you could talk about the good and bad stuff with your horses it should hopefully stop people asking you a lot about where are they and what is wrong with them etc hope you feel better emotionally soon I am guessing a large number of your followers know how hard it is and appreciate your honesty and primer you on personal stuff you tell us as much as you feel comfortable with and more than some other people do and as long as you your family and animals are ok then that is all I care about so thank you to you as well
Stop saying don't worry about you young Meg of course we are going to worry about you, you have become part of lives through your channel, so sending hugs, chin up, sit back and ride on, yes lock down sucks but try to treasure the good things, sorry about Dee but as you said probably the best time to try and sort this issue out, my youngster tore his heal bulb of in the middle of March and I rode him for the second time this morning yay. I love the babies!!!! Really looking forward to long-reining video. It's not something people do masses of here in Denmark, but I think it's a great tool, both for young horses, but also to mix it up for older horses. Do you ever bring the youngsters out on hacks (as in: on a lead-rope, learning about the big world outside the gates)?

Meg you are really incredible and one of my favourite equestrian youtubers. I’m sure you have a valid reason for being upset so don’t feel guilty about being sad because others are going through stuff because of corona i’m sure why you’re upset is perfectly valid. You are such an inspiration and I love you and your horse and your videos. Just know it gets better.

Hope you are starting to feel better, not sure what your sad news is but I do know that the heart heals and never feel that your sadness isn't as important as another's. ❤️ I also commend you for not doing risky stuff. I was an idiot and was using my isolation to do so many odd jobs around the property. My last job involved a ladder, I fell off said ladder and broke my heel in half. So I am in my own lockdown, either on the sofa or in bed. No horses for at least another 8 stupid weeks with potentially up to a year or more recovery. I am having a huge pity party and after seeing you have posted a new video I finally have a smile. Thank you and have a better day. ❤️

hey meg, i know you very unlikely to see this but my horse was exactly the same as Dee. he had the same treatment of Dee and he "fix" him, he is alot better now and it just takes time. he can back into work November last year and now hes really good and coming back into fully time work asap?when we are out of lockdown! but remember to look and the positives as everything will hopefully work out

It's hard to know what to say, other than that we are thinking of you, praying for you, and rooting for you. Sorry that Dee is having to rehab right now, but hoping that she comes back well and happy and ready to work. I am watching the virtual eventing vlog right now and really enjoying it. I'm looking forward to the Sally Spa Day video, and I'd love to see what you would put into you "I just got my first pony, what do I need?" kit? What you must have, what you'd like to have, and what you would have if you were made of actual money. :) Oh, and for the dressage illiterate, can you do a vlog on the basic movements of a dressage test, what are and where are the letters are placed, what the judge is looking for, and what are the parts that you find the easiest/most difficult with your various horses? But no rush, just some ideas for vlogs during lockdown. :) Blessings!

Personal problems are the worst. I advise mugs of tea, a bag of baked goods & lots of horsey hugs. This will pass in time & you'll be back on form, Dee will be sound & hopefully this virus will be done too!

I like to look at the silver lining on things, so like you said - this is the absolute perfect time to do what is best for cute Dee. Take the time for healing to occur & you will have a MUCH better 2021 season. Having said that, thank you for your previous video on the new stall bedding. Our stalls are only about 10 x 10 ish and we have Quarter Horses ranging in size from 15.2 to 16.1. Oh,yes we also have a little mustang that would be lucky to make 15 hands. So you can imagine how fast the stalls get bad - even with daily turnout. We will be trying the nuggets (pellets?) this week & see how they go. So here’s to a 71 yr old female with her 48 yr old disabled (bad back w/ 4 surgeries) daughter stripping & rebedding 7 stalls. Take care & stay safe. We love your videos.

By the way, how do you bear selling any of your darlings? I'd want to buy a huge property to keep them all. I’m so sorry for everything you’re going through. It really sucks. Absolutely love your little 3 year old. 🥰 the plasma treatment is really amazing and saved my horse after a back injury when he came back from a lease. I wish you all the best through everything and that Dee has a speedy recovery.
Two minutes in and my heart is breaking with you. I do understand why you would try to relate your pain to others and what is going on in the world - but pain is pain. And it's yours and it is real. My horse sprained a tendon in his right front leg last week. We are still in the cool down phase and it is so heart breaking! Like Meg said though, it really couldn’t have happened at a better time.

Aww Meg, whatever it is that has you feelling down in the dumps, it's OK to let it out. The saying "there's always someone worse than you" is always taken out of context too much. When I am upset over something and someone says that to me, it makes me feel worse and stupid about the little things that bother me. So don't be thinking about that. It is though, good to talk about it. So whenever you are ready we are all here to listen. 👋👌 Wishing ace an early happy 30th. He looks amazing!!! ❤️ So sorry about dee also, fingers crossed she will come out the other end fighting fit enough for some form of work at least. We had to use that treatment aswell. One of our horses got nearly fully blind in one eye and now she has full vision back. There hope and you'll get true this. ❤️
I love how upfront and real you are. It's very refreshing, though to be completely honest I would give you the exact same look as Jam, if you made those comments about my weight (though I know you would never)! But Jam and I know; the struggle is real and I've heard that the 19 in Covid 19 refers to the 19 kilos many are gaining from being in lock down! Fingers crossed that the treatments are successful and beautiful, athletic Dee feels sound ASAP. Feel better. You look gorgeous and that bracelet is beautiful!

Just because some people are feeling worse than you doesn’t mean you can’t feel like shit too. It’s okay to be mad, sad and feel like there is no meaning to it. Think about it the other way around; just because someone else just had the best day in their life doesn’t mean you can be happy too, does it? It’s okay to have darker periods and I hope you get better soon, but don’t forget to take your time. If a pause is what you need, don’t hesitate to leave TH-cam for a while.
