With all due respect, she wasn't disregarding the feelings of slimmer girls, she was stating a fact. We're not saying that slimmer girls aren't body shamed as well but people would rather be skinny than be chubby. Tbh, if you're chubby you're basically seen as all that is wrong with the world and if you can't lose weight you're seen as useless🤷🏿♀️ As the lady in the back mentioned, the beauty standard is having a skinny physique. The world associates being skinny with health and whilst that's not always true, that's how it's viewed. I've been on both sides of the spectrum and I was definitely treated way better being skinny than being chubby. I've been called some truly unrepeatable names whilst being chubby but when I was skinny the most I was told was to eat more. No one looked down on me when I was skinnier but to a lot of people I'm treated as mud under shoes. I do hope you can understand where a lot of chubby people are coming from, we aren't trying to invalidate your experience, we're just telling you that bigger people in general have it worse.

Nah I hear what she’s saying for a lot of black ppl back home aunties cousins all that all live together and without paying rent ofc so more time it’s just normal within the culture for relatives to stay free of charge anyways let alone ur own kids paying rent
