If you're living at home, once you're working create a savings account and put atleast half your paycheck in. I can not stress how important this is because that helps you save up for big life events, holidays and eventually helping you get a place to live

I just turned 23 yesterday. Crazy how time flies. I recently graduated college and now I’m focused on my mental health, inner peace, and being kinder to myself. It’s amazing how the perspective of life changes when you’re in a good headspace, something I wasn’t used to in college. I’m actively working on not getting so stressed on the little things. I think to myself, “will this matter in 5 years?”🤔🤔If not, then it’s probably not worth getting worked up over.
"Listen, honey, your 20s are a time for growth and learning. Don’t let anyone dim your shine! The lessons you learn, even the hard ones, are what shape you into the fierce woman you’re meant to be. Don’t be afraid to stand up for yourself, own your story, and never settle for less than you deserve. Keep pushing and keep thriving-you’ve got this!"
The first girl had lots of good advice, the second....meh! Don't get me wrong here. There are people who are not for you and by all means, run away from them. But don't for a minute treat people like they are disposable, they are on their journey to also becoming their best versions and being graceful to them and yourself is important. Listen to your heart and let your mind decide. Make mistakes and fix them, you are allowed to mess up, no one came with a tutorial on how to live!
Don't listen to that second lady. My sister is happily married to her high school boyfriend and first love. I almost got married too to MY first love, a wonderful man❤
As usual with advice videos for women, rarely, if at all, managing her money to build financial security ISNT discussed. But time is given to dealing with males
For me personally money can be a problem, but it has never fucked me up. It has never ruined my life. It has never purposefully tortured me. It has never abused or assaulted me. Men have harmed me more than money or lack of it. And I grew up poor, so it's not coming from a place of privilege. I can handle poor. I will not have to handle another narcissist ever again, because I know better now.
Man, as a 28 yo, I WISH I had had an older female role model in my family to teach me all this when I was still a teen/ in my early 20s. You're dropping gems that I had to learn the hard way 🥲 Best of luck to all you early twenty-somethings 😘😘😘
"Your body always knows before you do" is not superstition. Higher cortisol levels can worsen quality of sleep and skin and gut health. Of course many things at once can affect your hormonal levels, not just a single relationship/thing, but know to listen when something is quite literaly draining you out!
I just turned 20 and I'm already working on myself peace. I had satan's workers come up to me but I rebuke. And so far my high school and childhood friends are slowly drifting apart. But my 20 moto is "If it does not benefit me I ain't stressing it".

The thing is I just turned 24 and I’m realizing I’m kinda wasting my early to almost mid 20’s already. Like I’m literally gonna be 25 next year and that’s gonna come by hella quick because these years are going by so fast. I don’t know what I’m doing with my life tbh. I have no money to travel and to just do the things I want to do for beauty maintenance or whatever. Any advice and tips would be greatly appreciated ❤
Yeah I’m not in a relationship rn but the advice of breaking up with your boyfriend is wild. Obviously if it’s abusive, or there’s no love, or you aren’t on the same path it’s fine, but breaking up with them just to be alone is self sabotage
@@midnightgalaxy3793 Exactly, my bf treats me right. Also the move away from your family part. Everyone is different and has different motivations in life and family dynamics, I don’t see the point of isolating yourself from your family unless they treat you poorly. But I definitely agree with the sentiment of protecting your own peace
@@midnightgalaxy3793 it’s wrong to paint all men under 25 as only caring about you know what. I could never generalize a group of people like that, everyone is different no matter their sex, race, class, etc.
Its better to invest in physical and mental health then consumerism through beauty products brands etc. I started gym and look better in even in bad clothes as comapred to my old self in expensive clothes.
I got this, "We alone", Even if you have a good family .We born alone and We die alone. If we sick we cannot share our pain with someone. One day there will be a day that we all have to leave the world. We cannot bring our lovelies or anything with us.I beleive this as so powerful ,think deeply.
I don’t agree with different friends for different needs. That will leave you and your friends unsatisfied with your bond in the long run. Any relationship based off of need is strained or disingenuous. It may be better to be friends with someone because you actually admire them as an individual and you see them as someone you can see yourself being friends with for a truly long time. That doesn’t mean you will be friends for a long time or that you have to, but having that in mind that you’re vetting your friendships based on longevity and actual friendship chemistry, you’ll be able to put more care and intention towards respecting yourself in respect to those you have a companionship with. It really is a butterfly effect though. It helps you respect yourself and your friends more than that kind of attitude often translates to other areas of your life. What is your relationship to self? To your family? Your work? Your passions? Your gut? Your sleep? Nature? Food? Animals? Your body? Is it healthy? Do you want it to be? How can we bridge that gap? I’m almost 24 in a month and I’ve been trying and successfully finding the answers that sit right with me over the course of my existence but it is a process and it definitely doesn’t come easy. I’ve lost so many friendships repeatedly in life that were admittedly almost always toxic. My only friend is my older sister and honestly, I love that because of the people I’m around right now… they’re lovely to associate with but we just don’t click like I feel I’d want when it comes to a genuine friendship and so I only consider them associates. It’s refreshing af
Second girl has it too intensely. Dont break up if a relationship is making you happy, omg! What she means is: dont do anything at 18 years old or age thinking it will last forever. Dont move in with someone, dont give up college for a relationship, dont get kids, dont get MARRIED!! Because *if*,not when, it doesnt work out, it easier to get back to normality.
