Dedicating this poem to my beloved Captain Phil Harris & the F/V the Cornelia Marie. I miss the twinkle of his blue eyes... The Bering Sea Poem I fished a place like no other place you’ll ever find on earth. A place where the hardwork and danger can and should reflect a man's worth. I fished a place where the hours were long, sleep rare, if at all. A place where even the strong sometimes stumble and fall. I fished a place where you spend countless hours, pulling countless pots. A place where the memory of her back home is thought in countless thoughts. I fished a place where the weather can turn bad in the blink of an eye. A place where those will get hurt and some will even die. I love this place and the pride that it’s given me. You see, very few people on the face of this earth can say, “I‘ve crab fished the Bering Sea.”
You can see it in Jonathan’s eyes how much Phil’s passing hurts him, bill idk if they new each but he was visibly upset about Phil’s passing as well. Rip captain your voyage has come to its end
Interviewing takes more skill than most people think. The reason he moved on is due to the nature of the subject. Imagine someone is asking you questions on a topic that is very dear to you (that being it brings you to a place where you are quite uncomfortable) imagine now that person continues to probe you for answers despite you showing visible signs of discomfort. You would get irritated very quickly. I do admit that there are certain instances where interviewers go to far (including the King) but in this instance he moved on when he should have to avoid any awkward citations that may have come about due to this particular subject.
@@ilyichlambert6384 very true however, if you watch the full interview, Larry continuously interrupts Bill and Jonathon. For me personally I couldn't finish the interview because i was getting pissed at his interuptions.
Jonathan meant to say 12 minutes of no oxygen not 12 hours brain damage happens at 10 minutes and death follows in about 5 to 10 minutes after the brain checks out
