First of all Ty for watching my loc stuff 🙏🏽 lol but my extensions are doing just fine . I’m redoing some of them to make them look wayyy better , in fact I’m adding more longer loc extensions so stay tuned for that , I have better technique and troubleshooting things to share to make Locs look seamless. 👌🏽I just can’t wait to finish , it’s taking me a million years with my hectic life schedule

Great job..I braided my roots to a certain length, then added spring twist followed by a two strand twist. They're very small where it mimics braid locs. Everyone thinks its my hair. My daughter suggests I let my hair loc again for the fifth time lol

What about the blending of your loc pattern and the braiding? How visible is the difference in person?
Hi 🙂, perhaps I should’ve shown that better in video, my apologies, but i think it looks almost seamless & most ppl can’t tell they are extensions. I do have another video coming out soon in which I will show that better next time. Ty for watching

So, shortly after viewing your video, I tried the technique. I recently installed my interloc starters. Let me say, it worked like a charm! However, because my hair is still loose yet, my hair began to slip at the attachment area so one would need to use the crochet needles a lot more to secure the attachment. So I may attach at the roots because this is the method I was going to use anyway, then remove and attach to the ends in about 6 months. Just in time for my knotted locs training.
My concern is that my natural hair may not mature well underneath the extensions. Do you have an opinion on that?
@KobeLocs-ik7tf that’s a good question, I’m not sure about that.but ppl get extensions installed all the time upon their initial installment so I’m assuming that it may be ok but I’m not 100% on that.
Ok good to know my hair I got isn’t wrong. I was expecting a uniform Afro texture. It didn’t look like 16 inches at all. Lol
Nope just packed in a full fledged ball sis lol , basically shrinkage that we have to stretch lol

Does it slip when you wash your hair?
I did had one to come out but I believe it was bc I didn’t make it sturdy enough, but the rest of them are tough and hanging on strong after washes etc.

I didn’t really pay attention bc i only did so many that were short & needed my attention lol. I would guess about an hour or less depending how many,but i was slow at first because i was trying to figure out how I was going to go about it using that type of hair. I had two methods but this one was quicker

Can i do this with X-pression Springy afro synthetic hair?
Im not a loctitian but i wouldn’t recommend anything synthetic for MicroLocs but hey , i also feel like ppl can do what they wanna do wit there own hair, you make your own rules in my book… i know i breaks hair rules wit mines lol
How many bags did you need? Just 1?

Do you recommend this extension method on relaxed ends as well
@@DaniTaylor98 I think it depends on how long your relaxed hair is. I would suggest braiding it in from the root with your hair if it’s relaxed so it’ll hold better . My method may not hold to well with relaxed hair bc it’s designed to grip into tough locked hair. I would imagine it would slip right out once you shampoo it & that’s to much time & money to take a chance lol 😂

@@jazzyjennshighwayI inserted the hair the same way you did, but then I wrapped the extensions as my natural hair is interlocked. I can't tell where the extensions are😊

Yw, & There’s a such thing as brotherlocs they pretty much same thing as sisterlocs .
