@fatguylilcar2278 good luck! Careful what advice you search for and find. There is lots of good out there but there is lots of bad as well. I got a bear legit and I'm having trouble sighting in the trophy ridge 5 react. The bow has the shoot over 250 ft per second for it to work. Will the trophy ridge 5 react work on the bear legit or will I have to go to a different bow sight and what would be the best bow sight for this. Right now by 20 yd site is 10 yards and my 30-yard side is hitting at 20 yds perfectly. And my bow sight is bottomed out. All I know is it's been a legit money pit lately. What the bear legit I got.
Hello from Australia mate. I am looking at getting the bear legit as my first bow for shooting pigs. Would you recommend it or is there another one more suited to a beginner like myself. I liked the price point and its bang for buck value, but what do you think? Im not fimular with other comparable brands or products. Thanks in advance
Wow the land down under that's awesome!! I actually sent an Athens bow to a guy over there 2 years ago! Yessir it'll be a good bow. That one or the Bear species, or bear adapt I believe it is. They should all be around same price point. The bears are pretty user friendly and nice quality for the price. Get ya a good arrow set up and you'll be stacking bacon!! Feel free to find me on Facebook if you have it and shoot me a message with any questions. I love to help folks out. Especially beginners. If you are not on Facebook I'll give ya my cell and you can shoot a text. If you are shooting pigs if say 60 lbs minimum. A nice weight arrow 450 to 500 grains should do the trick. Happy hunting my friend!!
I just got one for my son and set the draw length to 22 for him but when i draw it back the modules touch the cables at different times i know some bows they should both touch at the same time but is this normal on this bear?
If the mods are set to the same number, your cables/cams are out of time. Itll need to be put in a press, and add or take away twists on cables to get it back in time. Pretty common. The bow can and will shoot like it is, but it won't shoot or tune the way it should. That's exactly what the issue is. Fix that and it'll hammer. 👍💪🏹
Same ! Bought brand new at a bow shop must be what they come at. Guy at the bow shop put it on is bow puller thing to check everything and said “holy shit 70lbs from factory”
I shot the regular species that I had in shop a little while back I would guess it should be close to it. that single cam draw cycle is gonna be hard to beat. I don't know how speed would compare. I have a review on the Original species if you have not seen it. It may help. Hope that helped!!
@bigdrumnc378 I'd say really similar. Mission draw cycle will be a tad smoother, and the mission shot will be will feel a little smoother. Bear will be faster and physical lighter. Both will be easy to "mess with" adjust draw and tune. Hope that helps!
Well anytime you buy a new bow especially a new one thats ready to hunt you should always tighten the screws up on everything. I own one of these legits and ive never had a problem with screws coming loose.
Good review, thanks. However ....... There are People that would be thoroughly impressed when they pull that bow out of the package. 30 years ago, that bow would "THE BOW ".
@@WadesSwampDonkeyArchery yes sir! I bought a Legit last year, and the only problem I’ve had, was the 2 screws for the draw mods came loose after about 50 shots. Put a dab of blue loctite on, and no problems since.
I just ordered this boat today completely new to compound bow. Looking forward to learning.

Hello have you shot the species ev by any chance to compare it to this bow?

How would you compare this to a mission switch?
@bigdrumnc378 I'd say really similar. Mission draw cycle will be a tad smoother, and the mission shot will be will feel a little smoother. Bear will be faster and physical lighter. Both will be easy to "mess with" adjust draw and tune. Hope that helps!
I hear folks saying screws fall out all the time
I’m comparing mission switch and bear legit thanks

It’s the screws for draw length. A little dab of loctite fixes that.

@7Thunders777 you're not kidding! I've been shooting since 1992 seeing the advancement in technology across the board is pretty awesome!
The Cruzer G2 is a decent bow, but it feels like a toy, compared to the Legit.
That's true for sure. For the little extra $$ the legit is worth the extra

I've heard a few other folks saying theu had same issue. Good luck this season!! Thanks for the comments!!
@@WadesSwampDonkeyArchery yes sir. Thanks for putting out the videos.
