@ …..THANKS
I really wanted this bow untill i came across the AT forum and realised how many people where gaving limb failure issues. That was the only reason i decided to stay away from the cinsequence
@markbeverly7095 I have not heard anyone having limb failures? I don't get on AT though. I've sold 8 or so of these and know several other folks that own them and never heard of that issue. I'm not discrediting what you are saying just stating that I have never heard of anyone having issue 🤷
I really wanted this bow untill i came across the AT forum and realised how many people where gaving limb failure issues. That was the only reason i decided to stay away from the cinsequence
Me personally I like the 4 fletch as well. I just switched myself cause I started making my own arrows. I feel like the 4 fletch with helical just flys and groups better.
@landonmauldin42 i believe so too. I'm setting my hunting and target up on 4 fletch. I think they really perform better in longer ranges. Best of luck to ya!
I'm still confused about the perfect tune system..so the cam stays put but the axle moves?..
I got a bear legit and I'm having trouble sighting in the trophy ridge 5 react. The bow has the shoot over 250 ft per second for it to work. Will the trophy ridge 5 react work on the bear legit or will I have to go to a different bow sight and what would be the best bow sight for this. Right now by 20 yd site is 10 yards and my 30-yard side is hitting at 20 yds perfectly. And my bow sight is bottomed out. All I know is it's been a legit money pit lately. What the bear legit I got.
Do you happen to have a video on split yokes on a 4 post jig?
In the future, can we have a budget bow competition video? between the top brands and can we be sure to include Obsession bows and Darton archery in the running? I’m really interested to see how the budget bows of each brand will place in the running for first place. My money is on the Obsession HB 33 or Kaoz HZ.
Thanks
Hi Wade, interested in your opinion on this vs the Athens Elevate (I know they're discontinued). I've got an opportunity to pick either of these up for the same price. Currently have a Hoyt VTM and a Vista 35 for reference.
@joelbearham5785 I think the Elevate is a tad "better performance" but the disadvantage is gonna be fiding parts. The consequence is an amazing bow the speeds and draw cycle are similar. Elevate is gonna be a few fps faster I never thought I'd suggest another bow over an Athens, but I'd probably go with the consequence just for the security of know i could find anything needed.
Don't play music; your videos would have been much better!
Does it come in black
When you say 350 grain arrow does that mean with the practice point.
@robertsrbell7811 yes 350 grains total weight. Field tip included
Everybody that I know of on TH-cam that has shot this has said it's a heavy bow. But he will say anything to sell a bow
He said super light lmao that bow is 4.6 pounds nothing on it . he don't say it's a heavy bow . Lol hold you hand out with the bow see if it don't rock back and forth lmao it's not a steady bow at all.
If you want a top heavy bow go ahead and buy it. No thank you . Price point is good . With fully decked out it's pretty much like hunting with a rifle lol for weight.
Did you make this string jig or is it availible to buy? lots of information, great video.
@@robertareynoldsjr that jig i purchased from another string maker. I believe there is a guy that makes them. I believe it's called Pronghorn or something like that. Thanks I try to give some good Info
great video brother !!
@@jimmydon1911 much appreciated!
Ohh and I’m also curious about the 70lbs draw speed on the bone
@curraheewolfpackgaming1707 yeah it should be close to their rated ibo. I believe this one was a 60 set at 29"
Do you think you can do another review on the Bone in the future with the M2 cam and the HZ cam for comparison???
@curraheewolfpackgaming1707 yep if I get some in with those cams I sure will
I just ordered this boat today completely new to compound bow. Looking forward to learning.
@fatguylilcar2278 good luck! Careful what advice you search for and find. There is lots of good out there but there is lots of bad as well. You can go to my website swampdonkeyarchery.com ot has my contact information there. Feel free to reach out and I'd be happy to help. And that user name got me Chuckeling.
Mr Wade thank you so much for your video I’ve been looking for a review video on the Bone forever😎👍🏻
@@curraheewolfpack you are welcome. Let me know if y want one. I can get ya one ordered and have it sent to ya!
How's the difference between that and the consequence are they the same cams and what is the back wall like I have a DS 3800 about 12 years old the back wall is not forgiving as I get older it's harder to hold Without A Yanking your hand off good videos by the way great information I look forward to the next one thank you
@robertsrbell7811 draw cycle is nearly identical between the sequel and consequence. Back wall feels really good. It does it feel like it wants to "take off". Speeds are faster from the sequel. The riser on the sequel is a better riser in my opinion. Sequel just feels a tad "higher quality". The consequence is IMO the best bang for the buck bow if you are on a budget. If money is not the primary issue the sequel is a better performer. The draw cycle on this BBS cam is really smooth, it does not feel like the older cams on the DS 3800. Different animals. Hope that answers your questions! And thanks, I try to give as much Info as I can! Let me know if ya have any other questions.
Great video Wade! I tie D-loops the same way as the last one you showed... Seems to be the best way I've found to eliminate nock pinch...
@bowhuntersworld4948 thanks bud bots definitely the most effective and efficient way in my opinion.

Awsome veido ty I shoot a left hand ds 3800 12 years old time for a new darton I live 20 miles away from them in hale, alway shot them .
These speeds are hard to believe out of 7.5 inches🤷♂️
Dartons are number 1.
Hey brother, I appreciate your knowledge. Brand new bow guy, 41 years old, looking forward to learning and this video was very helpful. Tight lines brother 🤙🏻
@Pond_King_Fishing thanks bud. I try to post good information. Good luck on your journey!
Do u know when the new Dartons are coming out?
@richardgoudeau8507 no i sure don't. Hopefully it won't be too long!
@@WadesSwampDonkeyArchery thx
No camo, bro
@Matto_Harvo yeah I didn't realize that till after I made the video. I figured they would have left it the same as the original one. I need to make a note in the description. Thanks bud.
Did you shoot axxis 31?
How much would fixing it cost Based on serverity?
@lastaliveko7zu well is cams are bent depending on bow they could run around $200. New strings will be $150 to $200. If limbs chanced that'll be another $200ish average numbers.... Best case scenario new strings and tune $150/200ish.
@@WadesSwampDonkeyArchery Does Bass Pro Do fixes? Sso far it seems my strings are messed up
@lastaliveko7zu the one local to me I wouldn't use for that repair but others may be ok.
It’s still cringe me to know I dry dried a bow (bow was completely fine) but I definitely knew better..
Hey brother how tall are you? I hear you say u gotta 30 inch draw length im just curious. What length arrows you shoot?
@backwoodsguerilla8123 Hey Bud! So I'm actually a 29" draw. I'm 5'9" when I say 30" I'm shooting it to try to achieve ibo stats. Ibo stats come from 70 lbs, 30" draw and 350 grain arrow. My target bows I shoot at 28.5 or 28.75. Hunting bow I set up on 29 just to get a little more speed. Hunting arrows are right at 29" to end of insert.
@@WadesSwampDonkeyArchery ahh i gotcha. Thanks for the reply. I was curious i just bought the consequence 2. From what im understanding i should be like a 29.5 inch draw from going off my wingspan being 74" im 6'2. I havnt been able to get by the pro shop yet. I was thinkin on ordering some arrows pre cut. Just wasnt sure what length to go with. First bow and all trynna get in the game.lol
@backwoodsguerilla8123 yep 29.5. Most of the time i try to build my and others arrows especially hunting bows to where the end of insert is at the front of riser. That way if you shoot a fixe blade broadhead most of it will be in front of your bow hand. So if ya pre order I'd say 29.5 /29.75 " I wouldn't go any shorter myself. Hope that helps!
@@WadesSwampDonkeyArchery yes sir i preciate it brother. Take it easy.
I just ordered mine yesterday. Got a sweet discount paid $675 flat for the bow. Od green and all
@@BackWoodsGuerilla you are gonna love it
I’m undecided between the Consequence 2 and the Prelude. I mostly do 3D shoots and hunt. Do you have any opinions between them ..?
@vaughnprecision I fell the consequence has a smoother draw cycle but other than that I couldn't give ya a good comparison. And the consequence with its 7" brace hight will he a tad more forgiving. But i have not put time behind a prelude
Have you shot that Xlite 35? I’m a short ata bow guy but I swear that bow is awesome & unbelievably lite
@@ShaneBolerHunting yep shot it at the ATA show this year. They are legit for sure.
Cool set up bro. I’m going hog hunting for the first time this year. Any of this could I use for them?
@briansilva6160 the Victory Rip TKO arrows for sure! They are super tough. Them hogs are such tough critters. Make sire you look at their anatomy and where thier shoulder armor is. A big boar has a "plate" that is tough to get thru. Any of this stuff would work fine for them, but the arrows are my 1st suggestion.
COUNTRY !!!!!!! GREAT DAY !!!!!!! Thanks for the knowledge. Respect, and blessings
Well done by Darton Archery....! My first bow (and the next three) was a Darton SL50 in 1987. Killed many deer with Darton bows.
@@tradarchery3 they been around a while! And have made great stuff all along!
That’s interesting that KS had an impact on you tuning bows. I know you loved Athens & I shot one that I thought was really nice. The reason I started shooting Xpedition, is because I loved the way they looked, I loved the black & green. This is before the Xlite days. As I shot them & learned who made them, I was intrigued. I actually didnt even know who KS was., I always just bow hunted & didn’t get into who designed them. But when I started shooting them in 2021, they were the fastest bow to smooth draw ratio that I shot. So I fell in love with them . Actually the Athens that I shot was similar. I think it was an Athens vista 31. So I could see why you liked Athens. Anyway, I love all bows, but I’m not a fan of the Obsession looks(color wise and obsession letter design🤷🏼♂️) I’m just picky about that . However, it won’t stop me from taking a hard look into them. I also like Darron’s & elite., But I’m sure these new obsessions are going to be some top dogs
I’m interested. I have 2 Xpedition’s. An Xscape & Smoke made by KS. Of course they’re both hard hitting bows. There’s supposed to be some more obsessions coming out that are light & have that flight cam. I’d like to come shoot one. Wish we weren’t 4.5hrs apart.
Id rather see the hashtag or what is it? hb33?. I seen a couple of reviews from bowhunting planet and archery supplies about these two bows. These guys were very happy with those bows.
The HB 33 has been out for a little bit and the Hashtag is a "youth bow" I done the review on this one because its the newest latest and greatest...But I will definitely do a review on the 2 you mentioned when I get them in the shop. and you are correct on the name the HB33.
I’m gonna guess it hits around 335-338 IBO
It’s faster than I thought it was gonna be. Sometimes he gets close to his stated IBO speeds. Sometimes he’s off by a lot.
Wow they’re real I never thought I’d see one.
I wish there was a darton dealer nearby.
@michaelschnitzer4054 hey I just saw your comment. Man I understand that. It's tough to make a purchase not putting your hands on one. But if you decide you want one I'll be happy to get ya one and ship to ya!
Wade that draw cycle is awesome. I’m waiting on mine now. Kevin is a genius in my opinion.
@ashleycarter7434 yep it sure is! Yes Kevin definitely knows what he is doing! Let me know when you yours
Are you gone be carrying Obsession bows?
@plram3054 I am a dealer, can custom order ya anything they have. Not sure how many I'll keep in shop. But will order as needed. Let me know amd I can fix ya up!
