As someone who's new to archery in general and looking to bow hunt for the first time this year, I would love to see more teaching like this from you. Thanks for putting out so much content!
Atleast he’s honest lol. I seen a guy in another video say you want to rely on “bone strength to steady the bow” I’m a personal trainer and working my way to being a PA, his body mechanics are very good and solid advice (I’m new to bow tho so that’s why I’m watching all this )
I've shot bows for 44 years drawing with a level elbow, not down or higher up like you demonstrated in the video and never had a problem until recently. I put heavier switch weight mods on my Vertix and strained the top of my arm between the bicep and tricep just below my shoulder. Changed the mods back and still felt discomfort until I tried your higher elbow leverage technique, no pain at all and much easier for me to draw back my bow. Thanks for the tip about drawing back properly, I have a couple of hunting trips planned for the fall and was a little worried about doing alot of practice this year.
Thank you so much for your video. I am just starting out in Archery. My wife bought me a bow for Father’s Day and we have been going to the archery range about once a month since then. My biggest struggle at first was decreasing the draw poundage but once I swallowed my pride it made everything easier.
Yea im there with you. Im not a small guy and im a farm kid. Im 6'0" and 240lbs but its definitely a VERY different set of specific muscles that are used in drawing the bow that if youve never used them it makes it difficult. But after about a week of practice drawing the bow it was easy at 55lbs. Gonna keep up with practicing my form for a while and my groupings and then maybe next month ill step up weight. Im aiming for taking the bow hunting by next year since i know im not ready for this season and i can keep practicing all year
Seriously! I have been drawing my bow the wrong way for years. I just tried your way. So much easier. I bit awkward at first. Time to practice :) . Thank you Chris
I used to pull 60 lbs the first way Chris said the first time, cause thats the way the bow shop techs told me to. Straight to my chest for some reason and my shoulders were killing me so badly i couldnt shoot back to back days. so then one day i tried pulling the bow back similar to the way Chris did, bow straight out, high elbow and straight back and i was able to pull back with little to no pressure or pain. So that definitely helped me out, and now im shooting an 80 Lb bow almost every day !
@@2amendment1960 Nobody needs a 600 horsepower car to just drive down the street either. Its cause we want it. I can pull 80 comfortably, some people cant, and im guessing one of those people might be you.
@@mannymurillo4706 Dude, I'm with you on the heavier draw weight. I shot 82 lbs for 35 yrs until I started getting old and losing strength. I'm 60 now and can only draw around 70 lbs. Yes, it's true that 60 lbs is enough in most situations for a stationary animal, but when I first started I was only shooting about 60 lbs and I shot at a buck that was trotting past me at 20 yds. My shot placement was perfect, but the fact that he was moving robbed my arrow of energy and I didn't get much penetration. After losing that buck, I told myself I'd never lose another deer due to lack of energy. I can't believe there are grown men that are only comfortable with a 60 lb bow. Hell, my 5'3", 120 lb daughter shoots 50 lbs! These guys need to toughen up.
Thank you for putting this together. I've been teaching myself to shoot a bow and archery hunt for about 6 years now. I was drawing the bow wrong and not always paying attention to my grip. I've put these things into practice the last two times I've shot my bow. What a difference! I'll have no problem going to a slightly heavier draw weight and I was able to get my new VXR dialed in. With time, I will definitely be shooting tighter groups at the 40 - 70 yrd ranges.
Why oh WHY did I wait 30 years to get back into archery? I've gone from just trying to be a bowhunter to trying bowfishing to having my daughter get into archery due to going bowfishing to being a volunteer coach in her JOAD team. Talk about rewarding! These are the very things we stress with our new archers. Having a great video demonstration is immensely helpful. Thanks. Big fan just trying to pass on the passion and gift! Keep up the great work. We both have excellent taste in bows too! Cheers!
Thank you for bringing this to everyone's attention. Sometimes people just don't know what they are doing wrong until you show them an example just like you did. Your examples were perfect. Setting up for the shot and doing everything the same exact way, every time, will improve your accuracy. Two of the biggest mistakes I see are face pressure on the string and not relaxing your bow hand through the shot. Try to hold the pin on target until you hear the arrow hit the target. Great video Mr. Bee, thank you!
Hey Chris, I, like J Lo have been shooting bow on and off for over 40 years. I never thought much about my draw until I saw your video. Actually, I played it for my wife who is just now starting archery and I thought it would make a good teaching moment, wow, was it ever. Anyhow, I was doing two of your three mistakes, improper position of my elbow and tweaking my anchor point. I went out tonight and tried your method and was absolutely shocked at how different my shooting was. Easy draw and came directly to my anchor point never having to change it before loosing the arrow. Thanks for the great tips
Great presentation.I am right hand dominant. I came off of left shoulder rotator cuff surgery and all I wanted to do was draw my bow back to show myself I could do it. I finally drew it back after some time but was doing it incorrectly with too much poundage and felt some bad things going on with my right shoulder. I'm now 5 days into right shoulder rotator cuff/bicep tendon surgery! I will doing things smarter this next time and with less poundage. Thanks for a good informative video.
You saved me from hurting myself again. I shot my first compound today and my shoulder ligaments are killing me because of drawing across the chest. Thanks man gotta get use to not shooting like a recurve.
Thanks Chris for your easy going knowledge I am a new archer and am self teaching and so far your videos keep me interested enough to grasp the material. Appreciate you for your time and videos.
Thank you for this video! It helped me immensely, especially with the draw cycle. I was previously drawing in a more flat fashion which didn't hurt. But I tried out your way today and it felt worlds better and was way easier to do for a long shoot session! Thanks!
I used to draw the first way Chris demonstrated for years at 70lb and had a D-loop breakage a couple months ago. That sudden shock during mid-draw and poor form dislocated my left shoulder (bow hand side). I don't sky draw so at least the arrow went safely downrange.
I had the same scenario, my d-loop frayed and misfired when I was drawing 70lbs punched myself in the face and the arrow went 200+ yards never found it Was in a safe spot so nothing could have been hit by it but wow oh wow,
Another thing I’ve noticed that has helped me is locking my head and eyes into the bullseye before drawing, after I’m at full draw I make sure to bring the string (gently) to my nose, I never move my head and face to the string hunting for the anchor point(s). After 28 years of shooting, this, my grip, and pressure of anchor points are key. I totally agree with this lesson. Great points to bring up!
Thanks for the tip on drawing back. It really helped. I was skying the bow and getting fatigued fast. Just upped my draw weight and have been struggling to stay in form. Levering the process makes it so much more efficient. Getting to the anchors and settling the pin with less effort. Shot some good groups today. Still have some torquing issues I’m working through and finding my bubble in the peep.
As a Dad of 4, watching your videos I'll be getting back in the field of Archery/bowhunting, waiting on the right time to buy another compound bow.. awesome videos
Got my first bow last month and thank you for this video. I've been reading and watching videos to be safe and know what I need to know to be an effective, educated, accurate, and SAFE .....uh ......ok.... one who shoots arrows or one that engages in archery is reffed to as?? Lol your videos are extremely helpful. I don't feel as if your speaking another language. Again thank you. I am learning on my own. None of my friends have a bow so yeah Baby Steps !!!
I've been that bowhunter that flings a few arrows right before the season for years. I've finally changed my ways for the better have been shooting a lot more. The issues you described with shoulder issues is exactly what I've been dealing with. So glad I clicked on this video.
I want to thank you for taking the time to make this video. I'm new to bow hunting last year. This year I have developed these inconsistencies that have been driving me crazy! The more I tried to figure it out the worse they got. Yes... you were talking directly to me on all 3. I couldn't believe it. I have applied all 3 changes and saw immediate results. Very excited. Stay safe.
Great video. Bought my first bow today. I know this may seem pretty routine for more experienced shooters but I thought it was a ton of good info. Looking forward to seeing what else I can learn from you
Literally just the other day was looking for a video of your draw from the side like this. Almost like you knew we all needed it. Thanks for sharing Chris. Love your content!
I have always been struggling with my grip. I saw your video and starting resting my fingers on the front. Great improvement. It is way easier for me to be consistent. Thanks,
I am so mad that I just now learned how to draw a bow. Have been doing this wrong for 20 years (flat) and have the sore shoulder to prove it. Tried your method and it felt like my bow lost 6lbs of draw weight. Thanks Chris!
I had someone today that keeping my back shoulder down would risk injury. Definitely done with that bow shop. Thanks for keeping me fitted when I was a kid but I'm an adult that needs my shoulders now. Thanks for keeping it real Chris
i just helped someone tune a bow today .took 3 group shootings to be on point . the first thing i thought him when drawing a bow pick arm up like you said ,,,,,but ,,,,, keep bow pointed more at ground before target , slowly pick it up placing shot pin on target release when perfect fully still ,if it actually goes off ,you wont send the arrow a few hundred yards away ,hurting someone or something possibly , etc.i also recomend common wrist releases to all beginners ...... within two hours about ,he was hitting all arrows in a 4 inch circle at 12 1/2 yards , and he knocked the bullseye out of three targets ,amazing what you can do when bow is dam near set up perfect , great video bro !
Been shooting 25 or 26 years now and I thought it all a good reminder. I saved this for future reference and to show new archers. Like he said, lots of instructional videos out there today. But this kid really does a good job of conveying the information very understandably.
Hey Chris I used to draw my bow back “over” my shoulder but after shooting a friends 80# bow i hurt it bad and could not draw my bow back the same way i now draw it back accros my chest not down like you show and now i have 0 pain and can still shoot.
Hey thank you a lot for the draw technique man. Saving my shoulder a ton of pain. When I first started, I couldn’t get 3 shots off without terrible sharp pain in my shoulder. Been practicing your technique and my shoulder pain isn’t there. I can put almost 20 shots in a row now with no pain. Thanks so much! Much respect
Great tips! I especially like the one where you should draw back raising your elbow. I tried it after watching your video and it made a huge difference in how smoothly I can draw my bow. Thank You!
Thanks so much for this video! I am going out tonight for the first time. I have been hurting my shoulder every time I pulled my bow back. This video has really helped with that, an even improved my aim. Thank you!
I’m the triple check guy 😅 it’s such an irritating habit that I’ve formed. When you said “if I’m talking directly to you” that hit my soul haha. Working on it tho! Love your content dude! Much love from Hawaii! 🤙🏽
Thank you!! I been drawing my bow back wrong for years. I’ve had to lower the pounds down to 60 cuz it jacked up my neck and pinched a nerve. I’ll have to try this tonight. No one ever showed me how to draw back like that. Thanks for the info man keep it up 👍🏻
Now my wrist is pretty much in the position that your wrist is in when I pull back and settle in. You got a nice set up there man. Arizona deer hunt starts here in the bottom month and it goes through the whole month of January. It's sweet to be able to hunt during the rut. Of course nothing like it was when I was young when a massive desert muleys and Coues whitetails were everywhere here in Gila County Arizona. Drought now 28 years and over hunting... So much has changed times gone so quick I can't believe it's 28 years that the effed up drought has changed the landscape and game populations so negatively... Anyway it comes down to scouting and knowing the area. Those white tails are sure small small Target but man they're mighty good eating. Whatever jumps out in front of my arrow beat a mule or whitetail but more likely a Coues where I'm going... Good fortune to everyone ☝🏼🙏🏼
Thanks for this, i stopped shooting for about 6 years, and one of the things i learned was the draw arm elbow up, the triangles, and i forgot about it, and then the nose on the string........ I will defenitly focus on that..... Cause i do that everytime!
Props for throwing this out there - I have times that I just cringe watching people shoot or draw their bow. Speaking from the perspective of having had shoulder surgery, I had to rework how I draw a little and definitely believe the injury was more related to incorrect draw motion than anything else.
Awesome ! I've been shooting for months the wrong way! I've been drawing the bow back from my chest !!! Now I'm going to do it how you suggest and that way the anchor point is perfect every time !!! Makes so much sense!
Thanks chris great vids...when actually done correctly you hardly feel anything in the shoulder...you use the teres minor an major, rear delta and lats
Awesome video I've bow hunted off and on for years but never really tuned my bow or bothered learning to much I always shot a good group a month before season but this year I plan on only bow hunting so I've been like a sponge learning anything I can! Awesome info without pushing products it seems all hunting/shooting videos are "you have to have this product or you can't do this" when in reality it all comes down to practice and learning how to utilize your equipment
I watched this video when is first came out. This video really helped break alot of old habits I used to do. This video really helped my shooting and accuracy so much! Thank you keep up the good work man!
I broke my collarbone 7ish months ago and went to buy a compound bow recently. Wanting to get into it! But when the salesman had me try some bows, my arm struggled to pull back without pain! It was super frustrating, I didn't even consider my collarbone before hand. Need to figure out how to strengthen and make that arm better! I will have to try your techniques and see if that helps! Thank you.
Hi 25 year traditional bow use here, one thing to keep in mind too to save your shoulder when drawing its always 50% pull with your dominant and 50% push with the other
Great video. I tried the grip suggestion by touching finger tips to front of bow and my groupings were much improved. Can't wait for the new ultraview attachment on Friday. Can't wait for next video
you just schooled me in about 10 years of your knowledge. even better your voice, your demeaner, and your opinions are so clearly stated. NOw lets hope i can hit the target. I have to open a couple doors in my condo to get the 750 shots.
I really appreciate this. Great info! I just bought a bow from a yard sale, I’ve never shot one, it feels like 10000000 pounds test. But you I realized after watching you I’m most definitely drawing wrong! 😂😂😂
In my opinion don’t be to eager to put an arrow through an animal. I shot pretty consistently for 2 1/2 years at range, at home, and lots of 3D shoots prior to ever trying to hunt with my bow. Be VERY confident with your shooting ability before hunting with your bow and you will do a lot more killing and a lot less wounding! And thank you Chris for all the great info, you’ve helped my form a ton since finding this channel!
I'm making all that mistakes, I've been shooting more now with the lock down and can feel it in my shoulder. Nobody will ever correct you on the shooting range, they are probably afraid you will shoot better than them. Thanks for the advice. Going out now to practice the right way.
Thumb meat = Thenar Eminance. Moving towards the middle of the hand across the thenar eminence is "medial" movement. Movement across the theater towards the direction of the thumb (first digit) is referred to as lateral. So for position descriptions anatomically accordingto bow grip, we get medial or lateral thenar eminence. Same applies for the rest of the body: towards center is medial, away from center is lateral
I'm fairly new, and curious about your first topic. When drawing like you demonstrated, is it possible to go too high? if so, what does that look like, and how would you know that it's too high?
I’ve bow hunted before but I’m still a novice and I’m trying to learn and practice as much as I can during school. Thank you so much for the info and would love to see more vids like this 👍👍
Great video. I’ve shot for 20 years and consider myself an above average shooter. Never thought any of these would apply to me, but Ive noticed on longer shots past 60 yards my groups are really not as good as they should be with my well tuned setup. I think my issue may be the face pressure mistake you talked about. I really jam it up against the string. Goes to show you never stop learning no matter how experienced you are. Thank you!
How do you have your limb string tied to the spring on your rest? Looks like you have it mushroomed like a d loop but I would assume you have it knotted in there better than that using some clever trick? I’m using the clamp on my hamskea hybrid hunter but I like how sleek and low profile yours is.
Excellent guide lines. Thank you for gathering these 3 together. I feel like they are all so equally important and parallel. I’m pretty fresh as a hunter/archer. I had been using a Bear youth bow the first 2 seasons, falling in the with the sport, I purchased a Bowtech Carbon Rose for this 2021 season. I think it’s one the best investments I’ve made for my self, ever! Let me just say the season is not over yet. I have been wondering about switching to a thumb release, or staying with my TRU Ball wrist strap. I’m also not sure if this is a terrible act, but I don’t have a stabilizer, yet! With the correct stabilizer, will that make my bow rest with ease in my hand? I really like that you made grips. I think I would benefit from a nice grip vs. smooth surface. Any ways, I hope this comment finds someone well. God is so GOOD, and he knows the amount of arrows we’ve lost over the years lol! Chris Bee, great Montana Elk shot. What an amazing feat.
Sweet, "I get to be the bad shoulder injury guy" lol. Everything crunches and hurts to keep my draw elbow as high as is recommended. But I am working to get it up as high as I can and avoid drawing across my chest. Good video my man
Really helpful thanks. Definitely going to add bows to my shooting this year so sucking up all these videos at the moment. I don't know what I don't know yet. So nothings basic. Well explained.
Not sure of my draw and how I have my arms have to try it out and see if I am doing it right great tip. As the other 2 go I learned to shoot at a young age and was alwys told light grip and have my hand just as you showed and I only touch my thumb and pointer finger together and have a wrist strap so never worried about my bow dropping. And I have always put the fletching of my arrow into the cornner of my mouth never my face on the string. I have had bow techs setting me up and they see this and it surprises most of them and I tell them been doing this since I learned to shoot and most of them liked the idea always have my arrow and bow in the exact spot all the time. Great video like to see more of basic tips nice to see them and never know if you been doing the wrong thing for years. Never to old to learn something new.
Having trouble tuning my bow I've paper tuned it but seems like I get it close and I'm chasing it left and right was looking for some thoughts. It's a single cam bow could the bo be out of tune or arrow spine to light. Shooting 70lbs 30in arrow with 350 spine seems like the arrow fishtails
Omg that cam hanes multi face touch thing shits me to tears, guys cam can shoot amazing but there is not much in his form that you should copy from him 😂
I played golf for a living but hunting is always #1 in my book. Quit golf and found archery 3 weeks ago. already bent cams twice 😅😅.. Left inside elboy feels like Ty Cobb pitching back to backs. Shoulder blades are sore no matter how I am positioned. Thanks for the tips!! Didn't realize how much archery and Golf are alike! The major difference is, if your setup is wrong!? You feel it the next day and if you don't fix it? Your out for a few days! In golf, a bad setup costs you blood pressure and for some a broken club. Rarely an effed up body. My shots are good, just costing incorrect muscle strain!
Dude. That draw tip is amazing. Just tried it and holy crap. At 45 pounds, I was struggling with that draw. Now, it’s so much easier. Who would have though form would make it easier lol.
This should help me iv got the v3 27 new to it all got the boss hog xl 20 is good to go ready to drop sight tape for 60 finally but my left right is off thinking these tips will help it esp. string pressure.
Getting my first actual bow within the next week. (My first bow is sitting at a 5 pound draw weight and has no arrows anymore.) I'm taking all your advice to make my first experience better.
Dumb question but I’m new to bow hunting with a compound bow. I shot this whole season with it and didn’t hunt with it cause I think i just needed reps under my belt. Do people replace the strings that come stock on a bow? And if so what string/company is best to go with? Like Gas bow strings as a example
Shooting too much in one session is a big problem too. You get tired, and start shooting sloppy. That makes bad habits, and doesn’t translate to the hunting scenario. Good video🤙
Hey I have the mission switch and I never feel comfortable like shooting. Wise I feel like I’m always off and it’s never the same now it’s like my shoulder hurts sometimes when I pull it back even tho my poundage is fine. Any tips
When i grip my bow I gently hold it between my thumb (as demonstrated) the wrap only my pointer finger around and keep the other 3 fingers off the bow entirely. Is it "the right way" maybe maybe not but I do it consistently, and it works for me

Still have some torquing issues I’m working through and finding my bubble in the peep.
As a Dad of 4, watching your videos I'll be getting back in the field of Archery/bowhunting, waiting on the right time to buy another compound bow.. awesome videos
You can thank Cam Hanes for 11:05
Thats where i learned how to do it😂😂
But to his defense. He is also hitting 5 kill shot grouping at 180+ yards consistently. Not saying it's a good way to anchor, just stating facts. Lol
I was laughing my ass off while he was talking about it and was thinking who would win a 160 yard shot contest. (CH would win btw) LOL
He's also a blatantly obvious trigger puncher. Lol
You people saying Cameron Hanes would win a shot out with Chris Bee y’all some clowns 🤡Chris bee would smoke Hanes in every way possible
Thanks,
Chris Bee aint afraid of dropping his bow, he likes to do the "bow throw" after killing monsters!
Low key hard to concentrate on what you’re saying when the music sounds like someone having an asthma attack in the background lol
💀💀💀
😂😂😂 dude I didn’t even pay much attention to the music and then read your comment. Now I can’t unhear it 😂
@@J_Monti same
Cannot be unheard
Agreed! could not even finish the video because the zombies in the song had me so distracted
I am so mad that I just now learned how to draw a bow. Have been doing this wrong for 20 years (flat) and have the sore shoulder to prove it. Tried your method and it felt like my bow lost 6lbs of draw weight. Thanks Chris!
I thought I just needed to start shooting my bow more
All I can say is thank you! Too many 'experts' on you tube. Your advice is practical, well demonstrated, and especially reliable.
I had someone today that keeping my back shoulder down would risk injury. Definitely done with that bow shop. Thanks for keeping me fitted when I was a kid but I'm an adult that needs my shoulders now. Thanks for keeping it real Chris
Anyone else just love to watch Chris Bee?
i just helped someone tune a bow today .took 3 group shootings to be on point . the first thing i thought him when drawing a bow pick arm up like you said ,,,,,but ,,,,, keep bow pointed more at ground before target , slowly pick it up placing shot pin on target release when perfect fully still ,if it actually goes off ,you wont send the arrow a few hundred yards away ,hurting someone or something possibly , etc.i also recomend common wrist releases to all beginners ...... within two hours about ,he was hitting all arrows in a 4 inch circle at 12 1/2 yards , and he knocked the bullseye out of three targets ,amazing what you can do when bow is dam near set up perfect , great video bro !
This whole video was directed at me and I’ve been shooting for 15 years lol
Been shooting 25 or 26 years now and I thought it all a good reminder. I saved this for future reference and to show new archers. Like he said, lots of instructional videos out there today. But this kid really does a good job of conveying the information very understandably.
tugman31163 He ain’t no kid boi.
cheerios boy - Context young man. I wasn’t being disrespectful to him. But to some of us, anyone under 35 years old is a kid.
tugman31163 Okay 🤪
Same
Hey Chris I used to draw my bow back “over” my shoulder but after shooting a friends 80# bow i hurt it bad and could not draw my bow back the same way i now draw it back accros my chest not down like you show and now i have 0 pain and can still shoot.
EDH Construction same with me I have to draw across my chest or I can’t draw more than 5 pounds
Thank You!
New to archery as of last week, and these tips are extremely helpful! Looking forward to practicing what you're preaching.
Thank you Chris. I’ve gone through quite a few different compound bow channels and found yours to be the best yet! Nice work!
Thanks for this, i stopped shooting for about 6 years, and one of the things i learned was the draw arm elbow up, the triangles, and i forgot about it, and then the nose on the string........ I will defenitly focus on that..... Cause i do that everytime!
jw i’m getting into bow hunting and i just wanted to ask, do you use a arm guard when ypu shoot or does it never hit your arm so you don’t need one?
Good tips that I now use and my shots have become much more consistent and tight groups. Thanks tons.
I really appreciate this. Great info! I just bought a bow from a yard sale, I’ve never shot one, it feels like 10000000 pounds test. But you I realized after watching you I’m most definitely drawing wrong! 😂😂😂
*but i realized I’m…
11:11 Hane's probably watching like "Now listen here you little s**t!" 😄
when the music was starting at the start i thought someone was hyperventilating
same
Yup
Shit was annoying ruined what would’ve been a great vid.
Hey this video helped a lot, just wanted to say thanks. Drawing and leaning too far into the string helped me out, shooting straighter today!
Will you please do a 3D arrow build from cutting, fletching, and gluing in tips and bushings.
I'm making all that mistakes, I've been shooting more now with the lock down and can feel it in my shoulder. Nobody will ever correct you on the shooting range, they are probably afraid you will shoot better than them. Thanks for the advice. Going out now to practice the right way.
Awesome video. I'm a newbie to Archery. Found your video very helpful. Thanks for sharing. John
Working on my archery right now. I appreciate your tips.
Good video my man
At 9:28, did you accidentally do the high draw (bow pointed very high at the start of the draw)?
Really helpful thanks. Definitely going to add bows to my shooting this year so sucking up all these videos at the moment. I don't know what I don't know yet. So nothings basic. Well explained.
Thanks bud nice video good advice. Im 56 and getting back into bow hunting I enjoyed your tips thanks PEACE
Omg that cam hanes multi face touch thing shits me to tears, guys cam can shoot amazing but there is not much in his form that you should copy from him 😂
That is the only person I know of that does that. Made me think if him too.
Timmons Outdoors ive seen videos on youtube of other people doing it also, maybe to be like haines idk🤷♂️
This was a great video. The death grip i used to do 2 years ago, and i noticed it making the arrow flying in different directions.
Background music sounds like Somone with Rona trying to breathe
I read this comment before the music started lol
I needed that
I played golf for a living but hunting is always #1 in my book.
I need a new release what do you guys recommend? I have a wrist release but I am open to try a hand held one but I do not want a back tension
I have a Mathews Halon 6 with crossintric cam. Will that hand grip work for my bow? And if so do u have it in green? Much appreciated!!
Great video for beginners. I just got a bow and this is great info. Especially the draw.
Love the vids Chris, can’t wait for the turkey vids!
Dude. That draw tip is amazing. Just tried it and holy crap. At 45 pounds, I was struggling with that draw. Now, it’s so much easier. Who would have though form would make it easier lol.
I’m 73 this helped a bunch. Thanks
This should help me iv got the v3 27 new to it all got the boss hog xl 20 is good to go ready to drop sight tape for 60 finally but my left right is off thinking these tips will help it esp. string pressure.
Getting my first actual bow within the next week. (My first bow is sitting at a 5 pound draw weight and has no arrows anymore.)
I'm taking all your advice to make my first experience better.
Dumb question but I’m new to bow hunting with a compound bow. I shot this whole season with it and didn’t hunt with it cause I think i just needed reps under my belt. Do people replace the strings that come stock on a bow? And if so what string/company is best to go with? Like Gas bow strings as a example
Thanks for the grip tip. Changed my shot 100% for the better
Three GREAT points that are so simple yet so many archers are unaware. Great video and great explanations!
Shooting too much in one session is a big problem too. You get tired, and start shooting sloppy. That makes bad habits, and doesn’t translate to the hunting scenario. Good video🤙
Great video sir! And thanks for doing it with humility instead of being arrogant and pompous like some of these dudes!
Is it "the right way" maybe maybe not but I do it consistently, and it works for me
Just started getting into archery and love this guys videos great content and always great to find a TH-camr with great editing.
Thank you this helps m alot I am mor of a gun hunter an I'm starting to get into bows I been practicing an this helps me alot thank you 🥰
