nothing but thieves is one of the best bands out there imo. i saw them live and it was incredible.
This band plays such a wide spectrum of music, the main reason I love them. Any one of their songs can fit a specific mood that needs scratching. They're constantly evolving and have been growing in popularity for some time LISTEN TO - I Was Just A Kid

Glad you enjoyed them and thanks for the reaction. One of my favourite things about NBT is how they build up their tracks and Conor's vocals, so I'm glad you noticed that too. They really are, in my opinion, one of the best up-and-coming acts in alternative rock.

You simply have to watch them play most of these live too, some live versions exceed the produced album versions.
It was fantastic seeing someone instantly enjoy this band, pretty much how I found them, heard Amsterdam and thought "who the hell are these guys!?! I need to hear more!" 😁😁

I am thrilled to see you've genuinely enjoyed this!!!! It was definitely the voice that did it for me, and even though this wasn't the first song I've heard by them I thought it was a prime example of their sound. I get the comparison to Julian, though I hear The Strokes more in the instrumentals because their bassist is a huge fan. Vocals are smooth as honey and they remind me of Jeff Buckley which is another warm recommendation for you guys. The twinkling sound at the beginning and the end of the song was achieved by crossing two guitars I believe, and they surely own their bridges. Lyrics are mostly penned down by their guitarist, always witty and sharp, thought provoking. Anyway, I should stop as it's obvious I have the softest spot for them. Thank you once again and I hope you revisit their work in the future ❤

Hey guys, i just watched your reaction and i enjoyed to see how you start getting into one of my biggest favorite song from NBT! :D I could recommend a looot of their other songs, like (obviously) their newest one: Is Everybody Going Crazy....BUT, ALSO i'm really curious, if you ever heard about the band RIVAL SONS because these two bands really got me into rock/Indie rock again, after a looong time dominated by all kinds od dance music...so i'm curious, if you would check out their rather classic rock vibe and the singer's crazy vocal range too... and maybe make a reaction video...? ;) I would recommend Open My Eyes or Too Bad, or from the slower ones Soul....thanks for considering, love from Slovakia ❤️

Take This Lonely Heart is just as good as a song if not even better by the same band. Same sort of vocal intensity - you should check it out. Great videos!!

You guys should check out Agent fresco - Eyes of a cloud catcher live, or pretty much any song by them. It´s an Icelandic band I think you guys might enjoy

You have to watch the TH-cam vids of them arranging the music, Dom Craik does some fantastic ones where he tells you what he was trying to achieve in a breakdown of various elements. If it doesn't make you want to create music nothing will.
Proper talent right through the band, they're all outstanding musicians.
Why is it fate throws together these bands and its not just one guy but a melting pot and they all come from the same town, it's crazy. (southend UK) must be fate right?😁

At the beginning I was thinking Bloc Party. Then I got Thirty Seconds to Mars. The tune was quite standard. I see you often enthused by a soft-loud-dynamic. Myself, I am not getting excited by that as much, although it's usually a sign of a good vocal, granted. Would not put it on my crowded list, for just now.
I could listen to this again. But I don't know how many more times. This tune seems like one of those things that are reusable but after some number of uses it's worn out. I think that's because the only thing that really grabbed my attention was the chorus. In all the other places the band seemed to sleep walk. But there's those big bursts of energy. I think if listened to this several more times I'd find myself not listening to the verses and only really listening for the chorus to come back. That said, I give it a 3.9 with the expectation of beach erosion.
That chorus is catchy though :D
The song had an late 80's/90's rock vibe for me. Musically I found the song simple and I felt like the instruments were doubling up on each other (playing the same thing relative to other). On the one hand when you double up the instruments gives the song power and drives the energy of the song. On the down side the song becomes a one trick pony, however, to give the song a chance to breath they added the slow part transitions. I found nothing that interest me from a musician's point of view. Overall I would say the song is just above average 3.5.
