    Session Description:
Several studies have shown that the COVID-19 pandemic has accelerated the adoption of a new, permanent, hybrid workplace model by many high-profile companies operating within the knowledge economy in North America. This new hybrid workplace model presents challenges and opportunities that female leaders must navigate as demonstrated in other studies. Still other data have revealed that the new hybrid workplace model calls for leaders to adapt their leadership style best suited to the new, flexible operating structure involving a mix of working in-office, working-from-home, and working-from-anywhere.
To understand the lived experiences of female leaders in North America, who have transitioned from leading within a traditional in-office workplace environment to a new, hybrid workplace model, research is required to recognize the challenges and opportunities they must navigate and the benefits of adopting a situational leadership style. My study may generate new knowledge and offer insights that could help increase employee retention. My research may work out how to help female leaders successfully navigate the new, hybrid workplace model. It may potentially contribute positively to the body of knowledge on situational leadership style and the new, hybrid workplace model from the perspective of female leaders.
