I bought XUV 300 W8 petrol at 10.5L in Feb 2021. It's just a wonderful car. You can drive it like a bike if you want and fit in your family comfortably. My kid intentionally goes to back seats, that's how good its back seats are. It's effortless in hills, comfortable on expressway and pleasure in day-to-day traffic. As the owner said in the video, if you are not too mileage-conscious, it's the best vehicle.
Edit: Service cost of 10K service was 2400 only!

Few cons milage, bootspace, lack of dashboard feel and price, 200nm torque it's too much if you are in too much in city use. Milage is major concern. Also all safety features are only in w8.

He is right about the mistreatment by Hyundai. In 2016, I booked creta but cancelled it for Vento 1.2 TSI.
When I told them about my decision one of the rep spoke loudly to me stating that you just bought a car lower in segment.
Till date, I have made a point to humiliate any Hyundai I see on highway or in city drive.
Volkswagen inko inki aukat dikha deti hai highway pe.
That's why I don't share anything with dealers after finalising my purchase

Same here , In 2015 I went to hundai to book i20 but salesperson said i20 have waiting period why don't you take i10, I said Chips ka packet lene thodi na aaya hu .. Lays nahi hai kurkure Lelo 😂... Then I went to VW and booked polo got delivery in 3 days and I am happy till now , 7 years passed and planning to keep it 8 years more 👍🙂

I totally agreed with him.. I went to Kolkata Baguihati Hyundai branch and it was Sunday. I understood that they had lesser salesman because it was Sunday. But they treated us like we were just a footstep towards their showroom. We felt neglected nd waited for 1hour. On that showroom we decided not to take anything from Hyundai. And we booked Nissan kicks xv premium.. we are glad today that we are not part of Hyundai. Worst showroom experience till date..👎🏾

2:30 the reason for red backlighting is to preserve night vision of our eyes when we transition sight between dash and road… white backlight can affect our night vision and generally unsafe. So Mahindra actually applied good safety practice and ergonomics here…
What about speed dials in front of driver, why there is white light. And what about XUV700 with long display.
I had very bad experience in Triumph Hyundai Faridabad.
I was looking for compact SUV.
In Triumph, they treated me like I'm nothing and can't buy a car, even they refused to give test drive for Venue.
I took test drive of Nexon and XUV300 and finally bought Nexon as there were all safety features, and boot space was more than 300, however, the driving experience of 300 was best in the class.
Now, whenever I will again purchase a car, will not look at Hyundai and will not suggest to anybody.

Hyundai has been destroying their image for fooling us about safety, almost all cars are using high strength steel, which doesn't help in keeping us safe

Had same experience in Hyundai twice, too much attitude. They are least bothered about customers and think that they are doing a favour by selling us Hyundai car. Initally i thought that may be it is issue with dealership hence I went to another dealer but similar experience. That time itself I decided that will never buy Hyundai in my life and will never recommend to anyone.

I owned this car for 3 years service cost is very low but main drawback is boot space and cold start. I have visited Assam to Leh Via Kashmir and run 8000 km in 25 days but disappointed in Leh due to cold start problem.
One more issue we faced in leh in our xuv300 was turbo lag during breaking on incline it was awful even my old swift diesel perform better than xuv300 on incline break rest is good

Gaadiyon ki kami nahi hai market me. Lekin humare desh me bahot log hain jo ek 3-star wali batsurat khatara ke liye apni izzat luta rahe hain aur corruption ke aage paisa fek rahe hain. In logon ke chalte showroom wale dalali pe utar aaye hain. Bhed chaal has become the norm of the day.
Kisi ko bhi apki gaadi khareedne ki choice ko dictate karne ka adhikaar nahi hai. Apke apne paise garv aur samman sey wahi lagao jaha apki izzat ho.

I was from bangalore and confused between venue and xuv300 then i took test drive in bellandur advait Hyundai though it's having 1.0 turbo with sound the sales person told u need to provide 75000 in booking to get it under 5months . Fir maine chor diya booked xuv 300 w8 optional. And received it on last week. It's a beast

Mere paas Xuv300 Diesel & Ford Figo diesel hai. Dono ek number cars hai. Mileage & pickup & suspension me dono top hai. Ek pocket rocket hai aur dusri Beast hai. Jab bhi b nikalta hu lagta hai yeh dusri se jyada better hai.... Comfort jyada Xuv300 me hai aur mileage jyada Figo me hai.

Very odd to see such things happening in Gurgaon/Noida/Delhi showrooms. I had been to Skoda/Tata/Mahindra showrooms recently in Bangalore and behaviour of all of them have been excellent. Mahindra showroom guy was even offering me XUV700 AX5 Petrol, no waiting, next day delivery(someone had cancelled booking). Nobody asked me to get accessories.

XUV 300 i have in my family Circle ...it's good mileage performance but lacks rear ac vents, small boot space and outdated interiors and it's top trim costs 14 lakhs ... Nexon sonet brezza is more value for money then XUV

We Indians are crazy for features. Although we will never use most of it in the entire life of the vehicle. The more features a car has the more issues it will have. Better to look at practicality of the vehicle.
get any automatic, i am driving manual cars from last 16 years (almost 3 lac kms), now i am fed from manual. but in my opinion 20 lac on a car is too much, i bought i20 active of 10 lac on road price in 2015. now i am earning 6-7 times more than what i was earning in 2015 but today i am planning to buy a car upto 11-12 lac max and the only good option is venue facelift IMT or DCT. i am a Hyundai customer from last 7 years and i am really happy with hyundai engine/build quality and with all the service centres of Noida. i have driven my i20 active diesel almost 1.2 lac in last 7 years and it still drives like a brand new car (and yes i am 6'3)

People who are already having car in India they should wait for few months as there is shortage of various electronic items imported from china and other countries as issue of supply chain. Within six months such issues will be solved and wait list will be reduce to around one or two months.
Dealers are creating artificial shortage too
