To So many people who are trying to criticize Rachit, They don't understand that an electric car is 75% hardware and 25% software, Optimization and software updates can make a day and night difference in car's performance.
Also: being a Mahindra XUV 300 owner and I've tried driving Nexon too.
XUV chassis and design is far far more confident.
My driving experience of Nexon EV was much better than XUV 400. Which is shocking considering Nexon doesn't have the underpinnings of Omega Arc. It was still more planted, confident and comfortable than XUV 400

You guys are absolutely right - Nexon is 0.4 seconds slower. The problem is how it makes you feel. The Innova HyCross and XUV700 diesel do 0-100 in similar timing - but the Innova is no fun to drive. That factor can’t be measured on a paper.

Personally I can't have this much anxiety, I would like to enjoy my trip/drive rather thn caring about how much charge is left and planning my trip around the chargers.
1. Charging mai boht time lgega
2. Charger milna chahiye
3. Charger working hona chahiye
4. Half an hour gaadi chalaane ke baad bar bar kitni battery drop hui hai vo dekhna
5. Upfront Extra cost compared to other fuel options
6. Ghar mai charger install krvana
7. Car mai aag lagna khade khade
Nothing to respect about, only people with money to burn are buying it as currently its not making economical sense to buy full EV products. The value just isn't there.

True! But shortsighted. U will regret this by 2024 Dec onwards when ev chargers will be available at every 100-150 kms and u will still be paying 1000 - 2000 bucks every week for your petrol with fuel and maintenance cost anxiety then!

Booked the new nexon ev, but its based on my requirement of better features and compact size (compared to xuv400 or larger suvs), but if my requirement was for longer drives and heavier use i wouldve bought xuv400 for better space as im 6'1" inch tall and the raised floor height with nexon long range is a slight disadvantage you wouldnt want to have in long drives

Kalpesh - Nexon isn’t same in performance. There is a major difference in how both the cars drive.

I have a merc c220d progressive and trust me my new nexon ev max has more features than the merc. Throughly impressed with the way Indian brands are providing better value proposition these days. Mahindra xuv 700 and new Scorpio are top notch but have to say your decision to buy the xuv ev over new nexon ev is totally illogical

I dont know how many of u noticed in the video when he talks abt boot space and show how they stack up the suitcases in boot. In xuv400, the small suitcase is kept in vertical position and in other car the guy is tryg to shove in horizontal position! And u want us to trust ur consultation!!

Bhai a quick check: I am planning to buy Nexon, budget strictly 10-10.50L. Petrol priority as low running in city. Old lu ya new as I am getting a price difference of 1.10 lakhs on road for similar version that is XMS old and pure 1.2 new. Please reply asap. Thanks in advance!!

Is NMC battery in XUV400 advisable for Indian climate? Even Tesla is moving to LFP.
Tesla hs moved to LFP only on standard range - for performance/long range it will always be NMC of the 2.

XUV 400 uses NMC battery, please tell me is this battery pack safe in the Indian weather conditions? Or Nexon EV is with LFP battery is better..?
It is absolutely safe. All Mercs, BMWs, Tesla long range, Volvos, Hyundai, Kia also use NMC. Most Chinese automakers use LFP and off lately VW Group has built their smaller and mid range cars on LFP.
