    Hello
    Always the same Story. Old Gas in it, and nobody knows something.
    Good that you check it first.
    In Germany nearly all Peoble use Premixed Fuel, as Aspen2T or Stihl Motomix ore somthing else. We dont have Bad Quality Fuel here. For all the Comercial Guys it is not allowed to use selfmixed Fuel you have to use Alkyladfuel.
    The Laws says you have to protect your Employes Health, thats a good thing.
    Thank you for the Video and Greetings from Germany.

    Down here in the states gasoline is considered good for 30 days before it starts going bad. I mix my own fuel ,for my Echo chainsaw’s, I use red armor and my Stihl saws get Stihl oil.

  • @dnlmachine4287
    @dnlmachine4287 9 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

    If there is premix fuel thats yellow, thats a dumb idea. Gasoline yellows as it ages or goes bad. Usually premix is blue or pink, depending if its 50 or 40 to 1 mix. But of course its terribly expensive, approx $10-$12 per liter/quart here in Canadaland. But the metal premix container is great for carrying your own premix, even fits inside some chainsaw cases with the saw.
    Stay gold.

    In UK one cannot get Ethanol free fuel (gas) so I use 5% Ethanol fuel and add Ethanol Shield mixed with Stihl HP Super 2 stroke oil, and never have a problem, at the moment I’m currently using fuel purchased in February 2024 mixed then, and I have no starting issues at all. In fact Stihl blower has older fuel from last year left in the tank and it started second pull and ran no problem at all. In UK we have extremely wet humid climate and the Ethanol Shield looks after my 2 strokes.

    I learned the lesson of not loaning your chainsaw to someone. A few months ago my uncle had a tree fall down in his yard during a storm. I thought he knew how to run a chainsaw, but I was wrong. I knew something was wrong when I got the chainsaw back. Part of the bar had turned blue, do to over heating. When I took the chainsaw bar off, I noticed there was some melted plastic around the sprocket... needless to say not going to let that happen again..

    Not sure what it is with stihl saws but im a mechanic at a shop near me in nova scotia Canada and whenever I look in the cylinder vs a husky the stihl bores always look spotty in a way if you know what I mean never really see much cross hatching and just has a funny looking spotty aspect to it. Where as a husky even if its had some time it just looks like a clean smooth surface with some hatching still left. So I dont really care for the way there plating is on there saws.
