Sound Bombing (1) was an important platform for many artists such as RA Rugged Man, Talib Kweli, Company Flow (El-P) and Eminem so I imagine it was one of their bios.
Could never get tired of this classic. One of my favorite emcees of all time (Mos Def) in his prime! (1998-2004) And the best verse I've ever heard from Pharoahe Monch
Mos was also speaking on the upcoming shift of the music industry with regard to streaming services taking over from physical media. "And if you got a joint bubblin', then get money now 'Cause in a minute, there's gonna be some real trouble comin' out Just a warnin', as usual, some cats won't heed it The hard-headed always gotta feel it to believe it"
Rawkus Records released some remixes on their RawKuts imprint - the John B Smooth Mix of Oh No slips in some dirty saxophone in a Liquid Drum and Bass style that is awesome

Hey Brian, I have a question: What do you do if you find an artist you really like? Say you want to go out and pick up an album or look up more of their music. Do you allow yourself that, or, seeing as you might end up reacting to another of their songs later on, is that too much of a risk? Just curious. Whenever I get put onto a new artist I dig, I go down a whole rabbit hole. But I could see how that might be a problem for someone with a channel.
This is one of those tracks I never skip when my music is on shuffle.
nate dogg started working with east coast artists and gave them some g-funk flavor.
Mos Def is on the short list of people i'd leave my man for in a minute, so i am loving that you are enjoying his music.
I won't tell your man. Unless he already knows. 😜
Mos Def, Andre 3000, and Black Thought. Are the greatest super group that never will happen, that should happen.
Just imagine that! 🤯
Besides the fact that Pharaoh Monch absolutely bodied your boy and disposed of the murder weapon on his own track?
This track is a certified classic. It has everything..Beat, chorus, verses, especially the pharoahe monch part, so fun to rap along to

Thanks for the info!

this song is the SOUNDTRACK of my 16 year old life, i would always wake up to this every morning before school. Perfect hip hop song.
It's a great wake-up song.
@@ABoomerReacts definitely
Most Def,
"Ms. Fat Booty"
🔥
That's def on my list.
@@ABoomerReacts I see what you did there 😉
I've long said that if i had to name 1 single emcee as the greatest ever, it would be Pharoahe Monch.
Monch 🔥
Pharoahe Monch is FIRE!!!
Mos was also speaking on the upcoming shift of the music industry with regard to streaming services taking over from physical media.

Thanks, James! I never would have picked up on that unless you pointed it out.
Been asking for you to do more Pharoahe Monch for at least the last 8 months
And here he is!
@@ABoomerReacts😂
Straight classic. And it brought east and west together.
I didn't even think of that.
oH nO?!!!... oH yEEEEAAAHH!!
Have you ever thought about reacting to any of the Harry Mack Freestyle videos?
I've watched a lot of them so a reaction from me wouldn't be fair.
Another Banga!!!! I have to dig out this album now!!!
Great reaction!
Thank you!
My favorite song of this album is actually “The legendary street team 2”..
Smif n Wessun and Royce 5’9 had bangers on this album too!
Thanks! I'll add it to my list.
You should check out "Rapid Eye Movement" by Pharooahe Monch, featuring Black Thought (chef's kiss!)
Thanks! I'll add it to my list.
Classic
Rawkus Records released some remixes on their RawKuts imprint - the John B Smooth Mix of Oh No slips in some dirty saxophone in a Liquid Drum and Bass style that is awesome
Thanks, Tony! I'll check it out.
Two of the most underrated emcees of all time. Pharoahe probably a bit more underrated than Mos, even among aficionados.
Pharoahe Monch is definitely underrated - recently saw his metal band open for Mos Def + Dead Prez and there were hardly any people there for his set.
@@JettGoldsmith Damn shame.
It's also in my top 5 rap songs 😉
One of them is also Full Clip by Gang starr. Maybe you can do that one, Brian..?
Greetings from Holland ❤🙏
Hi Maarten! Good to see you. I've been meaning to do that song so thanks for reminding me. I'll schedule it for December.
Tek n Steal would have been perfect. You are 100% correct sir
Too bad they didn't call me first. 😜
Could have been Talib Kweli who is the other member of Black Star. That album is pure🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I reacted to both versions of Respiration.
Nice pick, i was listening to this a few hours ago

Yes, it's too much of a risk. I don't listen to any hip hop away from this channel.
I watch a lot of them so probably no reaction. This is what I call "freestyle"; everything else (prewritten, memorized) needs a different name.
